Phantom Anthem Album Reviews

  • Best ABR Album

This is my favorite ABR album, I like it best, I give it 5 stars, amazing musicians, so much amazing work here.
  • ABR continues to grow and shape the genre!

Amazing album from top to bottom! Each song has its own identity and theme while at the same time managing to blend together as one. They left nothing behind while making this and it paid off!
  • Wow amazing like always.

Saw them back in 2011. I remember jamming ABR back in 08-09. Man they continue to get better and better.
  • πŸ‘πŸ‘

Now my favorite ABR album, awesome!!
  • love it

they have a formula, they stick to it. Great album. I like it a lot more than their last.
  • A Buyer's Review

This album is Phenomenally Amazing, seriously! Some will say it's the best since Leveler. Others, Consellations. I say that its the best since Messengers! With that said, Rescue & Restore was very well-done, and Found in Far Away Places had some stand-out tracks, but overall, those albums strayed too far from what originally made ABR so infectiously great, so the band was starting to fall off the map for me. Enter: Phantom Anthem. 8-9/11 of these tracks completely own the listener's attention. If I were to only buy 5 songs, these are the ones I would string together: 1) King of Sorrow 2) Hero of the Half Truth 3) Invisible Enemy 4) Dangerous 5) Carbon Copy The Frost is the next must-have song, since it's the melodic-successor to the Grammy-nominated song Identity. Quake is a great track by itself, & ABR fans that depise soft interludes will immediately take to this rip-roaring track. Generations has killer riffs and a melodic outro, overall complimenting King of Sorrow. Rounding out my bottom 3-4 tracks is Coordinates, which is very melodic & uplifting while also having a playful side. The soft-singing is really not good on this album, at all (for some reason).. Lifeline is a very solid song, with an outstanding interlude, but doesn't seem to reaaly mesh with the rest of the album's rock tracks (Coordinates and Float are not what I'd consider "rockers" from ABR). But if you like standard ABR, this is not a bad option. Float does not add any value to this album, in any way, but it compliments the far-superior Coordinates. Laniakea is a bonus track (from their website only), but it's really only a riff-idea and not a song, so iTunes did not miss out. I hope you found this useful & look into those Top 5-8 tracks!
  • Abr!

This album is great, it’s a headbangers delight
  • Wow

    Incredible album
  • Awesome

    A work of Christian artπŸ‘ŠπŸ½
  • ABR shows a mastery of their profession

The album is a culmination of skill that could only be amassed through decades of practice. Music theory meets poetry through metal.
