Phantom Anthem Album Reviews

  • Awesome

    A work of Christian artπŸ‘ŠπŸ½
  • ABR shows a mastery of their profession

The album is a culmination of skill that could only be amassed through decades of practice. Music theory meets poetry through metal.
  • ABR Consistency

Straight bangers all the way through, but you should already know that if you read August Burns Red because that's the only thing they put out.
  • Sick Record

The singles were amazing, and the rest of this record is even better! These guys really killed this one!
  • Yes, Just Yes!!

They continue to step up and get better, unsure how there are five 1 star reviews unless they are just bitter about how eargasmic this music is. Can't say that this won't be on the repeat for an extended period of time on the gym mix!! Highly recommended for any and all August Burns Red fans.
  • Yessss

  • This album is πŸ”₯

Wow, breakdowns are so intense on this album. Amazing 10/5 stars
  • These guys are just too good!

I was very excited for this album, and so far it has certainly not disappointed! So many nuances that you can only appreciate after multiple listens. For example, the rhythm guitar lick towards the end of Dangerous is addicting. As always, they have the stand-out parts like the opening (and very medieval-like epicness) guitar riff in Quake (incredibly addicting). Some of the album is a little bit "odd" but it's unique and breathes some life into the genre without sacrificing what makes ABR, ABR. It's incredible how they continue to bring new styles into the genre without sacrificing the heavier sound (without getting whiny or "losing the metal"). They retain the precision at each instrument. Seems like Matt is really digging his Zil-Bel. Definitely would recommend this album to any ABR or any fan of heavier music!
  • They did it again

I love this cd!!! August Burns Red never lets me down. Super heavy and melodic!
