Best album period!!. I thought Burn the Priest was their best till I heard this I'm hoping that they will stick with this style.

Metal heads. True metal head would have this album, one of their best and continue to bring pure American metal!

Outstanding. This album is a masterpiece. Reclamation and Grace are, in my opinion, the two best songs on the record and every other song is great as well. Lamb of God has proven that they are one of the best metal bands of all time and anyone who disagrees has NO taste in music. Just buy it, don't think about it.

Meh.... The album is okay, but not LOG's best work. The lyrics are forgettable and they aren't thinking outside the box, but that gets them back to basics with mind-battering metallic intensity.

Lamb of God gets heavier, but not better. First off let me say this, if you're looking for your first lamb of god album to purchase, this is not the one you want. Sacrament is a masterpiece and you owe it to yourself to pick that up. This album is not LoG's best work, but it's definitely their heaviest. Blythe experiments with some new vocal techniques and most of the time it adds an extra layer of brutality to the already insane vocals that Lamb of God is famous for. For those concerned, there still is a lot of the classic Lamb of God vocal style in here, even though listening to the demo tracks may not indicate it. The instrumentals got an extra dose of steroids and the sound is a bit more full and heavy than previous albums. Also, Lamb of god has had very few proper guitar solos before this point. This album delivers some, and they're all very refined. Not astounding, but they sound good and they fit with the music well. However, I didn't feel like the composition was quite as good here as it was in some of their past albums. Maybe it's because I've only had the album for a day, but I don't think there was anything here that will stick in my head like a lot of their older stuff has, and though it sounds good, in a lot of the songs there's almost too much going on to get into them. If you're a fan of Lamb of God, you won't be disappointed, but you won't be blown away either.
