Lamb of God is back. Back with another great album just in time for Halloween! Well produced like the last couple and digging the hard riffs and heavy driving beats. I Must say, although I love Chris Adler’s drumming style and all the great music they’ve written together… after 2 albums, I personally prefer Art Cruz’s style and think he fits Lamb of God precisely. Nothing personal it just sounds more…organic! Another home run from the Gods of American Metal!

This album!. I have been listening to Lamb of God since As the Palaces Burn. This album brings back the sound and lyrics that made Lamb of God a band to watch. This album, I feel is in the top tier of their albums up with Ashes of the Wake. I do like the mix of multitudes of sounds and influences from previous Lamb of God albums with an additional experimental sounds and musical changes that they have decided to add. Songs like Nevermore, Gomorrah, Denial Mechanism, and September Song stand out as slight changes, different, and excellent songs. Randy’s lyrics and ability to match the instrumentals with his aptitude to emphasize, be clear, and concise at certain points in the music reminds me of earlier days. Songs like Vanishing, Ditch, Greyscale, and To the Grave bring the true brutality of Lamb of God to the forefront. The breakdowns in certain songs are enough to surprise you and give you some metal chills. Randy’s vocal range in this album never waivers and still holds that signature rage and sound that makes them stand out. The instrumentals demonstrate great musicianship, synchrony, and changes to keep you coming back to listen to the album. The sound reminds you why you originally love the band and their music.

A very solid album. I was leery at first after hearing a couple songs on YouTube. But after listening a few times, I love every song on this album. I've been listening to this constantly since it came out and don't see that changing much any time soon.

This is what I'm talking about!. I'm so glad they have a new album amidst all the pop and "rock" being done today. It's awesome to see some good old fashioned brutal metal back on the scene. Just saw them with Killswitch Engage, Spiritbox, and Fit for an Autopsy. (shameless plugs for other amazing metal bands)

Best Material in Years!. I’ve been huge fan of these guys ever since I first heard Black Label over 20 year ago. They took things to another level on As the Palaces Burn and their magnum opus, Ashes of the Wake, but the quality of their material declined significantly in the latter half of the decade. So it’s great to finally have some new music from these guys that’s worth listening to.

For the one star reviews. Go back to your motionless in white albums and cry yourselves to sleep. It's obvious you do not understand pure American metal.

Awesome. Every song here is a banger. I can see some people are still butthurt about the politics of the last album. None of the songs here sound political so you can rock out without having your snowflake feelings hurt

Just don’t get why people like this band. No melody. Nothing original in their sound. Boring songs - well, it’s one song over & over again. And conformist “do what you’re told” lyrics. Yeah, these guys are SO metal. This stinks.

Good metal. I never have listened to lamb of God before and I am a big metal head, love it so far can’t wait for the full album to drop. I pre- ordered it and it bangs.

2nd best LOG album to ashes of the wake !!. Wow! The last 2 Lamb of God albums have been amazing!!! Every song is amazing!!!! They never disappoint except for Resolution that album was terrible.

Every Song Sounds The Same. I literally cannot differentiate between songs 1-10 of this album. Being in a heavy metal band is the easiest job in the world, because you can just make one song and change nothing about it and say you’ve made 10 songs. Unbelievable.

🇺🇸. Suuuuuper incredible reviews we have here. The best of the best, in fact. Definitely listened to the music as well, I bet. Also some people down here have clearly learned how to read sometime in the past two years and made the mind-blowing realization that most metal, if not almost all of metal, is leftist or left leaning. It’s also nice to see that iTunes is mostly inhabited by these delusional lemons who are more gelatin then human, and probably have a strong opposition to books and other basic learning methods. All they can do is manage sentence fragments at this point, while living in their own strange little bubble of sadness and self-loathing covered up by a burning hatred of anything they don’t understand or scares them. Tragically, mostly everything falls under this category, as their whole personality and existence has become so one dimensional, that they can’t do anything but hate, scream, or complain. For if they didn’t have that burning hatred, they wouldn’t have anything. Except sadness, pain, and a meaningless existence. God bless America.

Gets better and better. The more I listen, the more I like. The riffs, the breakdowns, Randy’s voice, etc. It’s a well oiled metal machine. Hate all you want but these guys are legends.

Not their best for sure.. I really enjoy Lamb of God albums. I think Chris Adler is the best drummer in metal, and that they created a unique sound. However, this album just isn’t very good. There’s nothing catchy here, and it is lacks creativity, with nothing memorable to offer. Overall, it’s a massive disappointment for me. Yep, 3 stars. Why? Because it’s formulaic, boring music, and most songs sound very similar. All of the whiny babies leaving 5 star reviews bashing the low reviews and saying things like “Shut up and enjoy the music” just can’t handle anyone disagreeing with them. Guess what? That’s not the way this works, but your sad little attempt at censorship is amusing nonetheless. The 1 star reviews could definitely use some elaboration, but it is what it is. Leaving angry 5 star reviews just because you don’t agree with the low scores is hilarious. Your anger feeds my soul. As for the politics mentioned in some low reviews, it’s not that bad, and they have points that cut both ways. I can respect that. It’s not like they pulled a Machinehead and became a divisive, hypocritical hate band.

Consistent. Lamb of God is not my favorite metal band but they have some bangers and I’ve never listened to a song by them that I genuinely don’t like. This album has bangers like III Designs and Gammorah
