Jose. Why wasn't this post as new releases on itunes? Great album. To Bad itunes don't recognized it.

I was there both nights..... ...and, yeah, it was THIS great. Two amazing nights.

Live At Benaroya Hall (With The Seattle Symphony ). Brandani Carllie has great voice

Awesome. This album is AWESOME! Of course, everything by Brandi Carlile is worth owning. It's a shame that she doesn't get more credit than she does...she should be on the ITunes home page today!

What Can I Say?. It's perfect. I wish I had been able to fly out to Seattle to be there in person, but this album is about the closest it gets to being in the room with Brandi and the symphony.

OMG. How have I been missing out on this music?? First time I didnt need to hear all the samples and even the ones I did it took about 2seconds to love. She makes me weep listening to her and I couldn't even tell u why. She is a much too well-kept secret.

Love this one..... I've never been able to see her (and them) live but love her. I'm listening to this one now and though I have some of these on other albums, the live performance is truly different--and the same--wonderful.

Great artist. If you've never seen her live, YOU MUST!!! Dare I say she may even be better live? She is playful and her voice is rich with many layers! Do yourself a favor and pick this up! Peace

The most under-rated artist out there. Brandi Carlile (and the band) are amazing. I am continually puzzled why major music magazines like Rolling Stone don't review their albums or write about them. It's a shame and a waste that Brandi isn't more widely known. And while I love each and every CD, nothing yet has captured how amazing they are in concert. I catch them every time I can and travel to other cities...they (Brandi and The Twins) are that good. This album comes closer to capturing their live performances, and I highly recommend.

So true AFW1991. This is a very good album and one, I am sure people would like. The crap that is passed off as music today and this does not get on the front page. And where was this so called Genius! I own Brandi's other music, why did this not come up. Had to find this on my own. Still love ITunes but come on let's promote real talent.

BC Band. The Carlile Band does it again--young kids makin' the music come alive! Pride and Joy, Intense with the symphony! Endorphins EVERYWHERE!

brandi. smile

Amazing... But. The music is beautiful and the orchestra adding something more is amazing. Only complaint is that there's anywhere from :15 - :30 seconds of clapping from the audience on all the tracks. Kind of annoying to feel a song then have an audience interrupt the mood.

Brandi Carlile Live at Benaroya Hall. This is a very mature album showcasing Brandi Carlile’s amazing voice, her chemistry with her band and the audience while still feeling like a unified whole. Her voice is truly a gift and it is really apparent here. She displays vocal range, but also emotional range from dark, to powerful, to rock playfulness and up into searingly vulnerable highs. She displays the maturity to not do too much, staying true to the song – NOT engaging in a bunch of self conscious vocalization for the sake of vocalization. The full power of her voice unfolds naturally over the course of the album. The climax is her version of “Hallelujah” made more remarkable in that it is done live. Then she lets us down easy with a fun cover of “Forever Young”, because with Brandi Carlile the dark is always balanced with the light. Bottom line: buy this album. I never buy entire albums (thanks iTunes), but this is a must have album.

What amazing live music!. Wow I have been listening to her stuff over the past week and I am impressed.

A taste. I was fortunate enough to be in the audience for this concert and let me say that this album comes pretty close to capturing those amazing performances by Carlile, her band, and the Seattle Symphony. Just listening to the clips brings me back to that night....and it was a very good night. I highly recommend seeing her live if you can. If not, this album will give you a taste of her raw talent.

New Fan. Last night Brandi opened for Ray Lamontagne. I have to admit I didn't think I would enjoy the show. But from the minute Brandi Carlile hit the stage, she was fantastic. I bought the album right after their set and I was not disappointed. I would have bought a ticket just to hear her and the band play. Today I'm looking through iTunes looking for other tracks to add to my library. She is just that good.

OMG... I thought I loved Brandi Carlile before... Just WOW!. This album is just amazing. I don't know that I have the words to adequately do it justice. The Symphony adds such a dramatic element to Brandi's songs (especially Sixty Years On) that it just about takes my breath away. I am so incredibly jealous of all the people who were in attendance for this concert. I've seen her live twice already -- at The Fillmore in SF and at The Great American Music Hall in SF (And as a side note, if you ever have the opportunity to see someone perform at the GAMH DO IT! The acoustics are unearthly good and it is a really lovely little venue) -- but to have been there for this one... Why isn't this on the front page of iTunes?!

A welcome addition to my Brandi collection. Brandi's powerful voice always resonates on her records, but this album is even more amazing that usual because it gives a feel of how she comes across in concert. Brandi in concert is an experience like no other. She moves. She enlightens. She takes your breath away. Finally, this record showcases that experience. Buy it. You won't regret it.

Can't wait for more!! A new album coming in May!. I've been a huge fan for years and finally saw Brandi live in Clearwater in a 600-seat historic theater. She (and the twins) are amazing - both recorded and live. There aren't many artists that sound this good in person. Brandi has a phenominal voice and is an amazing musician and entertainer. She said a new album is coming in May and I can't wait. I have all her music and am super excited for more. Everything she does is great!

Fantastic, as always!. May I start a petition for another utterly amazing live Brandi album, including her songs from the last eight years?

Why is this not on the front of I-Tunes with all the other new releases?. This album is fantastic and I think it would do very well if it were put on the front page...not many people are goingn to find it on their own...but if they do by chance they will not regret it. This album shows how great the band plays together and shows the raw talent that they all have. I encourage everyone to pick up a copy!

HOT. Cannot believe Brandi and her fellow artists are not huger than huge by now. Perhaps the intimate stage is more to their liking. This group dynamic, the smooth, the raw, the most tender of sounds from these people is indescribably delicious. Don't miss a live concert if you have the opportunity. Seriously.

Brand New Brandi <3. I was surprised not to see "That Year" included on the mix but still a SOLID COMPiLATiON of some of Ms. Carlile's numerous heartfelt ballads and some popular hits that she gives new life to such as "Forever Young and The Sound of Silence". Brandi has the Voice of an Angel. I agree this should receive front page advertising but Brandi's Loyal Fans are constantly on the watch for new material anyway so we'll find it and spread the word. Brandi's # 1

Absolutely Mind-Blowingly Phenomenal. You will not find an artist better than Brandi and you will not find an album better than this. Stunning, gorgeous, emotional, raw.

New Fan. Last night Brandi opened for Ray Lamontagne in Charlottesville.

Pulse Pounding Excitement. This is the best live album you will ever hear! You get to hear how Brandi interacts with the audience. The orchestra adds an unbelievable kick to every song. During every song you will feel like you are actually there watching the performance live (I envy those who were able to be at this concert!)!!! This album will blow you away with Brandi's voice and the heart that the orchestra is able to add to each song.

BCB at it's best!. If you like Brandi Carlile, you will LOVE her and the band after seeing them live. Although a recording can never quite capture the amazing sound and show they can put on, this album comes pretty darn close! Thanks Brandi, the twins, and Josh for putting this out for all the fans!!!!

How am I just now finding this?. Seriously though, how am I just now finding this almost ten years after it’s release? Brandi Carlile does things with her voice that would snap the vocal chords of mere mortals. Emphasized by the orchestra, this album ebbs and flows and then swells to a breaking. You add in an electric guitar and a classic set of drums and you have an incredibly dramatic sound that you won’t find anywhere else.

Amazing. I love Brandi Carlile already, but this record is mind blowing. I think the only thing that could possibly make her sound better than she already did is an orchestra. If you like great music, this needs to be in your collection.

The best artist ever!!!. There is nothing bad you can say about Brandi Carlile! She has an amazing voice and plays with tremendous passion. I travel all over to see her perform when I can. Even though I have heard her live numerous times, it never gets old! There is always something different and exciting in her voice, and I would recommend Brandi to EVERYONE! I love her!!

Stunning!. This is my favorite album of 2011 by far. If you haven't been lucky enough to see Brandi Carlile live, this album makes for a perfect sampler of her epic tunes, her out of this world voice and the strong connection she creates with her loving audience. Brandi, thanks for the awesome Woodland Park Zoo concert this past August and please start the New Year off right with a concert in Beautiful British Colombia (Vancouver)!!! Thanks for it all!!

Lingering love. On this album, I think its a shame how Pride and Joy doesn't have 5 stars. The version on this album remains to be one of my favourite songs of all time. Not just by Brandi, but one of my favourties. The passion and addition of the symphony aren't only heard, but also felt. Thanks for still giving me shivers, Brandi. Looking forward to the new album

Love!!. Love this live album!! Brandi you are amazing :) find your way to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan!!!

Pure Magic. She sounds great live, Acoustic and on a record. Is their anything she can't do?

Brandi Carlile Live at Benaroya. First things first. Marry me Brandi Carlile. Im a hopeless romantic and I know it would be more than easy to love you just by hearing the passion in your voice. Now to the review......she strikes my ears as a voice that sounds like.......K.D. Lang x Janis Joplin. She definitely does grace the ears with her folk, but when she opens up it.....it......well its hard to descibe the magic she produces. Shame on me for not following her music sooner, trust me this album is a gem and Brandi Carlile is even more precious. It astounds me that a 29 year old is as talented as she is, its taken a life-time for other artists to come close to her talent. Lookin for a quick listen, give "Pride and Joy" (Track 11) a listen......its probably my fave. Other artists have released albums of this calliber, but once again its astonishing from such a young lady......I give you my word this lady will become absolute greatness, in a lot of ways she's already there. Mow the lawn, walk the dogs then settle down on a warm sunday afternoon with this album and a drink..........I dont know the exact word I'm lookin for to describe this album, but I think its sheer bliss. (2 words whatever you get the point......Im a stranger and you dont know me, but if you have faith in your common man and appreciate how great music is, trust me its a must have, happy listenin and I'll catch ya on the flip side). ***** 5 stars from this guy!

Fantastic Album. I love Brandi Carlile! She is one of my favourite singers around. I love live music as well so this is an excellent combination. My favourite song on the album is "The Story (Live), I love this song as the normal version and I also love it as the live version which I think is better still. Overall this album album gets eight out of ten because it has some absolutely fantastic songs on it but not all the songs are to my liking and some of the songs need improvements but overall what a fantastic album with some fabulous and enjoyable songs which I love! Brilliant!

The Best Live Album Ever !!!. Without doubt, this fusion of folk and rock with the fulsome sounds of a wonderful orchestra has produced an album that deserves every possible superlative. Added to this you have the most important ingredient of all, the amazing Brandi with her powerful and unique voice who, together with the Hanseroth Twins, makes this the best live album you could ever wish to hear. Just sit in a darkened room with your eyes closed and play this album and I am sure you will believe you are really there in Seattle experiencing it at first hand. Every track is a standout. I don't think this album can be bettered.

Awesome!. No words can accurately describe just how amazing this album is. A must buy for everyone!

Live @ Benaroya Hall. Another awesome album from a great singer, Brandi you are pure class

Brandi. Amazing and emotional
