HOT. Cannot believe Brandi and her fellow artists are not huger than huge by now. Perhaps the intimate stage is more to their liking. This group dynamic, the smooth, the raw, the most tender of sounds from these people is indescribably delicious. Don't miss a live concert if you have the opportunity. Seriously.

Amazing... But. The music is beautiful and the orchestra adding something more is amazing. Only complaint is that there's anywhere from :15 - :30 seconds of clapping from the audience on all the tracks. Kind of annoying to feel a song then have an audience interrupt the mood.

New Fan. Last night Brandi opened for Ray Lamontagne in Charlottesville. I have to admit I didn't think I would enjoy the show. But from the minute Brandi Carlile hit the stage, she was fantastic. I bought the album right after their set and I was not disappointed. I would have bought a ticket just to hear her and the band play. Today I'm looking through iTunes looking for other tracks to add to my library. She is just that good.
