OMG. How have I been missing out on this music?? First time I didnt need to hear all the samples and even the ones I did it took about 2seconds to love. She makes me weep listening to her and I couldn't even tell u why. She is a much too well-kept secret.
What Can I Say?. It's perfect. I wish I had been able to fly out to Seattle to be there in person, but this album is about the closest it gets to being in the room with Brandi and the symphony.
The most under-rated artist out there. Brandi Carlile (and the band) are amazing. I am continually puzzled why major music magazines like Rolling Stone don't review their albums or write about them. It's a shame and a waste that Brandi isn't more widely known. And while I love each and every CD, nothing yet has captured how amazing they are in concert. I catch them every time I can and travel to other cities...they (Brandi and The Twins) are that good. This album comes closer to capturing their live performances, and I highly recommend.
Absolutely Mind-Blowingly Phenomenal. You will not find an artist better than Brandi and you will not find an album better than this. Stunning, gorgeous, emotional, raw.
