Tom 22763. Tom is a good person to avoid in this life, he went out of his way to give a negative review to an album that many others consider a classic. He has every right to review any album any way he wishes but why do it, what was gained? We share this planet with too many like Tom.

Talking Heads!!!!!!!!!. Can't stand the Talking Heads never did & never will.... David Bryne is just a terrible singer.... To me there was just absolutely nothing appealing about this band at all SORRY....

Brilliant Album. This album, as well as Television's Marquee Moon, does a great job of showing the depth of the late 70s New York punk scene. The content is distinctive and quirky, but remains easily accessible. The 16 tracks found here are well worth twelve dollars. If you enjoy this, try the above mentioned Marquee Moon, or Richard Hell's Blank Generation album.

The Impact Was Incredible. This really was a landmark album in many ways. It's hard to imagine so much of the music we take for granted today without this one coming first. The lyrical and musical content, in stark contrast to the band's preppy image, was also pretty amazing, especially in 1977, when musicians either looked like Ted Nugent and Peter Frampton...or Johnny Rotten. Looking like a college student was the most subversive statement possible. In some ways, it still is.

Pretty Good. The Early Talking Heads album "Talking Heads 77" captures the fervent neurotic "nerdy" energy of the Talking heads. The early songs are very stripped down and straight forward great rock. The acoustic version of "Psycho Killer" is worth even buying this extended remastered version over the regular version. However, a few songs have some touchs feel out of place, like the steel drum on "uh-oh Love Comes to Town." However, that aside, on the whole, Talking Heads is a great, upbeat, energetic album. The Talking Heads cannot be beat.

Everyone MUST own this album!. The energy on this album is amazing. You can really hear that these guys (and girl) are setting up for something big. Plus the bass is so freaking good!

Hey Tom. For your info, these people are better than beiber. This is how the new people form. Anyway, why do you search this to give it a bad review? The only people I'd do that to are, Psy, beiber, etc.

Kinda crappy32. Besides physco killer these songs are basically a lot of nonsense with no good beats or rythms I meant two put two stars up there

Some Great Stuff. The Talking Head's early stuff is their best stuff. Everyone should listen to it. The album's great.

Dear Tom. Talking Heads band is a conglomeration of superbly talented musicians that have actually earned awards and are highly educated, This is why some no brainers like to to say in general that they just "can't stand them" That's great, but if you don't have an educated opinion then go somewhere and comment on something you know about. This is an incredible album that has an unique sound that you will not find elsewhere. This band took the time to think about what they were doing. Highly energetic with sound mixes that can not be remotely duplicated. Definitely their early work was the best. So Tom, that's all right it's not for everyone....now go back to listening to Britney or Justin Beiber.

The Talking Heads' Best Album:. Throughout the Talking Heads' career, they made everything from bubblegum, funky high school rock to avant-garde african congo music. (Sax and Violins). They made singles like Road to Nowhere and Naive Melody. But with all these hits, singles, and music videos, none compare to this album. It sums up their entire career, it starts them on the right foot, and it's the most raw, natural sound. I would suggest buying this album, it is a steal for so many songs.
