Not Bad. I absolutely love TEB, but every album has had to grow on me before I can really like it. This was no exception. The first TEB album was great both lyrically and musically. As for this album, it seems like TEB tried to make their music fit more into the pop mold rather than alternative (they've always been more about being unique than trying to fit the mold. They've had a very unique sound). Never Let You Go and An Ode to Maybe are the biggest pieces of evidence for this. The sound is just so different from their first album, though it's not bad at all. Blue really hits it lyrically with songs like Wounded, 10 Days Late, Deep Inside of You, and others. The album is definitely worth getting if you liked the first album and wouldn't mind it more poppy.

This album is very odd. I have to say I want to like this album very much, but it's tough. The first 5 tracks are good, and have the makings for a great start to a great album, but after that things get weird. The next two tracks are very strange and I don't like them very much. It seems that they were making the songs difficult to listen to so that people would think they were branching out. However the songs have nothing that makes them different other then being totally awkward. After that we approach Red Summer Sun, what is wrong with this song?? I can't like in spite of the beautiful ending which is the redeeming quality of this track. Next we have camouflage, you can't understand the words and it's impossible for me to figure out why other than the fact that it's supposed to be camouflaged (ha ha ha). Farther is a great pop song that gets things back on track for us and Darkness and Darwin keep that great song writting momentum going, Slow Motion is great and I like how it brings back the ending of Red Summer Sun after the nice instrumental part. Over all I could say that this album is a good buy, but it really needs Darwin on the itunes version after you lose the four weirdo tracks. I give it a fair three stars

Depth. This album takes me back, and in a good, deep, reflective way. I love rediscovering this album. It's real stuff - it feels like nothing gets lost in the translation of these lyrics from the hearts of TEB to the listener.

Hands down 3EBs best. If I could rate it 6 stars, I would. Every aspect comes through with vigorous force; lyrics are insane, guitars, drum, and bass all follow suit. Jenkins is a musical genius and the other members are as well- this album is a must buy. The songs will really stick on you. I'm a junior in high school and find every single one applicable- this is too good to rate. Buy it. You will not regret it.

Great Album. this album was awesome i thought they would chenge from the first album like some artists do but they didn't and that's awesome
