Epic. When this session was recorded, Elvis was on RCA records and just popped into Sun studio to say hi. Jerry Lee Lewis was a session player and is the one playing on most of the songs. Because Elvis is on these recordings with Sun artists, RCA wouldn't let it be released. The two labels had to work out the legalities for this to be a reality. Glad they worked it all out.

Foresight. That someone had the foresight to leave the tape running to capture these guys at this time in their carriers is amazing. overall-OK. Overall, good if for nothing else, a historical event. Nonetheless, I hear essentially no singing by Carl Perkins or Johnny Cash.

Elvis. I don't really like Elvis, more like his older stuff, but this album, i really liked. Probably the influence of Jonny Cash, is what makes it so good

awesome. sooo many songs for so little money. I love this album man. Such a relaxed, bouncing, rambling vibe. The little verbal exchanges between artists really make it aswell. And better still the little background noises of sun studios; doors closing; other artists recording; laughs etc.
