Larry Londin will always be remembered. Raised on Radio is this bands last attempt to recapture the magic not only in their music but also as a talented group of friends expressing themselves in a much more mature way. Steve Perry always found it very difficult to work without his musical support network which was primarily based in Nashville. The sounds of most of the tunes on this album are driven by the musical talents of Larry Londin. Larry was one of these solid solid country drummers and had a very unique powerful finess in his style of playing the drums. I too love the simplicity and ease with which Larry lets the deep groove sit right in the center of the pocket. Great collection of songs!
