Gonna Find My Love by Brandy Song Lyrics

I could feel it when I woke up this morning
I just knew it when I opened my eyes
Don't know what it is
but I know something's coming up for me
Ahh yeah
And I don't even have no expectations
I've been burned
I've been hurt
Yeah I've cried
I've survived all those trials and tribulations
And I'm back, alive, oh yeah

The most wide open
For love hopin'
Freedom to go wherever you are
Nothing can hold me down
Nobody's gonna talk me out of it
I don't know where or when
But I feel it in my heart

I'm gonna find my love (love, love, yeah)
I'm gonna find my love
(could you be, could you be)
I'm gonna find my love
(could you be, could you be)
I'm gonna find my love
(could you be, could you be)
I'm gonna find my love
(could you be)

I have groomed myself to be a real good woman
Now I'm ready for the chance to love again
And I promise I will give my all
And all I have to give
Everything love oh yeah

Human. Didn't know you had a resent album out and it sounds really good too. Please come out with more because I miss your music.

PLEASE DON'T CALL IT A COMEBACK...!!!. Initially I wasn't very pleased with this album. Let me say that Brandy Is my favorite artist and her last album, "Afrodisiac" (led by Timbaland), still remains as one of my most favorite R&B albums. I was hoping that this would be a part two! But if an artist continues to put out the same sounding albums, where's the growth? Brandy has definitely evolved and grown since her last album. She has gone through yet another breakup in her love life and was involved in a car accident that ended in fatality. I guess this is what it takes to make one of the best 'comeback' albums ever! After a few listens, "Human" has become another one of my favorite R&B albums. On this record, she reunites with long time producer Rodney Jerkins. Who produced the bulk of the album, including the first two singles, "Right Here (Departed)" & "Long Distance". Which are definitely some of the standout cuts from the album and some of Brandy's best work. Actually all the songs with Rodney are fire! "The Definition" is a very solid opening! Brandy declares how her man defines love and how love has gotten better after she has let go of the pain of past love. "Warm It Up (With Love)" is a very humanitary song, if you will. Brandy states that the world could be better if we all come together and love one another. "Piano Man" is one of the album's standout cuts. Brandy is a very deep artist and it definitely shows on tracks like this one. She recalls how music can tell the story of someone's pain and how the pain can be so relateable worldwide. "Camouflage" is a beaufitul record where Brandy admits to not being perfect and stating that the imperfection makes her who she is. She declares that she will not camouflage for love and you either take all of her, or nothing. Great Message! "Shattered Heart" is one of my favorite's from the album. It is another track produced by Rodney, which actually sounds like a record produced by Timbaland. Brandy sounds so poetic on this track (Don't break the glass called me/Our love can save anything like the father believe me)! She describes the hurdles that one had to go through to get her heart. My other favorites from the album are "True", "Fall" (which was co written by Natasha Bedingfield), "1st & Love" and "A Capella (Something's Missing)" I was very surprised to hear this track. I have always said that Brandy could use her voice as an instrument, and that is exactly what she does on this song! Even though it took a few listens to actually like this album, I am very pleased to call this an incredible effort. This is Brandy's deepest and most mature and emotional project to date. I am very dissapointed at the first week sales of this album. Brandy is an incredible artist who has paved the way for many youngsters in the game (Keyshia Cole, Rihanna, etc.). She deserves more respect. It's a crying shame this project wasn't given the attention it deserves! Everyone was concerned about a certain Sahsa and a Ringleader. This is Brandy at her best! She will always remain one of the true greatest voices of all time. I just hate seeing real talent taken for granted. No matter how hot or cold, Brandy will always have a fan in me!

Flavva. Brandie is the girl...This album is probably her best next to Full Moon. One can relate to the lyrics...the messages are real, and it truly embodies the title of the album "Human". She came back very strong...Go Gurl!

Brandy-Human. Four year break since Afrodisiac, Brandy returns with a new label home (Epic/Knockout) and reunites with past mentor and producer, Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins. Does Brandy come back better than ever? The Definition: Re-united with producer Darkchild, Brandy comes out strong as thumping drums and synths start things off. Brandy blends well with the production and comes out with a fresh sound. Her raspy vocals are evident in the final verse. 3/5 Warm It Up (With Love): Piano loop and uptempo drums back Brandy as she croons about warming the world up with love. A mature concept that serves as a genuine world anthem and fits Brandy’s personality. A nice track that deals with relationships and current world struggles. 3.5/5 Right Here (Departed): Selected as the lead single, the production is definitely radio ready, as pianos and a pop sound work well here. Brandy really shines on the hook and the bridge, where she goes from a whispery croon to building drum breakdown and celebratory finish. 4/5 Piano Man: Choppy synths and pounding bass drops, as Brandy’s vocals are decent. The hook is what really grabs you, as well as the bridge which uses some interesting instrumentation of strings and synth effects but it comes off as a weaker “Right Here (Departed)”. Nonetheless it’s a solid effort. 3.5/5 Long Distance: Piano driven production about long distance relationships hits your eardrums well, as supporting synths and drums add dramatic effect. Vocally Brandy sounds refreshing on here, there’s something missing from making it a perfect single, but it’s a creative creation between Darkchild and Brandy that is relevant to many relationships. 4.5/5 Camouflage: Brandy continues with positive messages and radio ready jams of synth, piano and drum productions. Decent track here that has Brandy singing about a relationship not being worth it if she has to camouflage. 3/5 Torn Down: Different instrumentation from the previous tracks, yet continuing the uptempo theme, Brandy sings about not being torn down. Decent. 3/5 Human: Brandy’s vocals are well sung and Toby Gad’s production gives the song a beautiful bridge that will capture listeners. Brandy’s singing about the album’s theme of being “perfectly human” and “just staying alive”, its a wonderful track that has Brandy opening up and letting loose vocally. 4/5 Shattered Heart: With a simple production of pulsating drums hits and other added instruments inserted throughout, the track isn’t as good as it should be. The production has an interesting drum pattern, however the hook doesn’t quite work as well as it should and becomes a bit dull during the verses. Still a decent track that has some good production. 3/5 True: RedOne handles production duties that would be good, however the drums sound really bad. Otherwise, the soul searching strings work nicely, as Brandy delivers her true ballad here that is quite genuine. A truly beautiful number that will definitely touch listeners hearts about love being true. 4/5 A Capella (Something’s Missing): Probably the most unique cut, Soundz serves as the producer, utilizing Brandy as the bass and claps, while electric guitar jams out in the background. The harmonizing it quite beautiful and this is probably the most creative effort on the album. 3.5/5 1st And Love: The production is decent, it isn’t until the heavy drums come in, that the track actually sounds good. Lyrically the hook and verses are decent, but the song gets better later on. 3/5 Fall: Brandy offers assurance on this dramatic effort that bounces from exhilarating to clam clap tempo. The raspy vocals are back and sounding better than ever as this pop number is solid. 3.5/5 Gonna Find My Love: Uptempo and relevant with the material already on the album, its a decent bonus. 3/5 Brandy’s new release delivers a matured and safer approach for her return. The album’s production works well and numerous tracks sound ready for radio play, with a positive and personal feel to many of the tracks. While it may not be as fun, because several songs contain personal lyrics, the album is definitely a statement in Brandy’s career. “Right Here (Departed)” has a pop sound that will definitely catch on with its anthemic atmosphere, the building and epic “Long Distance” works well in its balance of vulnerability and reflection, as the unique “A Capella (Something’s Missing)” shows some creativity. While some tracks become a bit too pop and sounding similar, Brandy opens up with mature writing, making the appropriately titled Human all that more enjoyable and a worthy return. Rating: 8 out of 10

She's done it again!!!. I have never written a review on iTunes but this album just blew me away. As soon as the first track came out, I knew I had to go get the album. I knew it would be amazing...just like Aphrodisiac, but even better. Brandy is so talented and I hope she will be recognized for the true talent and gifted artist she is!
