Great to Hear Thom Alone. Great to hear what Thom Yorke comes up with without the other members of Radiohead. These songs are a little less approachable than Radiohead's, but after time I've gradually come to enjoy each.

An Evocative, Compulsory Listen.. Layered, poetic, gorgeous. This is music I've been looking for forever. Mr. Yorke's exemplary, passionate record also helped introduce me to (a) genre(s) of music with which I was previously unfamiliar, and which I now find absolutely essential. Great lyrics, great, passionate vox, great melodies, great sounds, great album.

Missing the Band. I am a gigantic fan of Thom York and the Radiohead team in general, and when my brother first showed me this album I was wondering how on earth I didn't own it yet. There are some great moments on this album for sure...the first four songs are really strong and in general the album comes through on the "Listen with your headphones" ear-candy that usually accompanies a Radiohead recording. Thom York's vocals certainly do not disappoint...you should know by now if you like it, and I certainly do. My problem is that while I enjoy the album, it is all forgettable. There are very few moments that I want to listen to again and again...like pretty much every Radiohead album has. In short I just may not be cut out for a completely electronic vibe...J. Greenwood just rips to much!

A Thing of Beauty!. Thom Yorke has definitely proven himself to be a musician in his own right on this brilliant album.The songs are distinctively Thom Yorke, yet refreshing and transcendental to the ear. Absolutely an astounding achievement from one of the world's most iconic musicians, in my opinion. This album showcases his incredible vocal range and love for textured electronic soundscapes. The songs have the effect of making you feel like you are floating on crack. My favorite songs on the album are, "Black Swan", "The Clock", "Eraser" and "Analyse." Even music listeners who are not familiar with Yorke's work with Radiohead, will undoubtedly fall in love with this piece of work, as it certainly stands on its own.
