WE WANT THE FIRST 3 SYLVERS ALBUMS!. PLEEEEASE!!!!

They Were big. In searching for the Sylvers on Itunes I was hoping to find the old stuff. Fools Paradise,One Can win your Love, Misdamenor done by Foster Sylver, ect. and a few other tracks from their very first LP when there were six siblings in the group. Thats when they were big, really big. I Do have their first LP on vinyl but with alot of crackling that you get from older LP's with lots of play time. Their fame didn't last as long as J5 and other big groups from the seventies but their songs still live on. And though I'm not familiar with a few songs from this review, I will say that their early LP simply titled The Sylvers is a definate collectable.

I'm Callin' on the Hot Line!. I need the Sylvers songs I remember from junior high -- High School Dance, Hot Line, etc. Back in the day, I borrowed my boyfriend's Sylvers album and listened to it over and over. Their songs were funky, sexy, fun and clean. Classic, great music from the '70s. Bring them back!

I agreed with the rest. Bring back the classic from their first album must I name the song? "Only one can win your love","I'll never be ashamed again' "fools Paradise" " I know myself" "So close to you" "Forever mine" and "the roulette game of Love". These are the classic.

Slyvers. Um so like.. Where is the song Misdemeanor?.. Been wanting that from the Sylvers. Anyone know. ?

Great Sylvers Album!!!. A great band with a great sound. A very rare CD that was very underated! A must have for any fan!

I agree with other reviewers. Get more albums! Especially the New Horizons, Showcase and Something Special albums. Oh yeah, and the second album Foster Sylvers made when he was 15 or 16? with the remake of "Don't Be Cruel" "Goody Goody" and "The Drop" Come on, keep up iTunes. The album for him noted above was not in 1978, the second one was!

ITUNES, WHERE R U!!. You cannot be serious when you have a group like the Sylvers and not the famous song "Hot Line".;;;;;;;;;;OMG!!!!Get over it and put it on so we can buy it

Semi-Comeback flop of what should have been a hit!. When The Sylvers made their move to SOLAR records in 1981, we noticed a few other changes. Foster was nearly out of his teens and his voice matured much more plus he assumed duties of the main lead singer since Edmund left to persue a mildly successful, yet short solo career. That did'nt stop the group for putting out great music and going back to the R&B/Funk side of their music - reuniting them with Leon Sylvers, although he only produced, played additional bass, and sang back up for the band. Their music matured quite a bit too, but when Concept came out in late 1981, much of the public saw another Shalamar/Dynasty sounding band and dismissed the album quickly. Their nasty legal battle with their former manager (who ripped the group off) contributed to the lack of success of this release (talk about ultimate sabotaging). Due to these series of unfortunate chaos, great jams such as "Come Back Lover (their only hit single peaking at #61 on the R&B charts)," "I'm Getting Over," and "Heart Repairman" were far overlooked. The latter is my favorite cut from the album and the bass licks and melody were kickin'! The ballads, "The Unfinished Letter" and "Just When I Thought It Was Over" were The Sylvers written all over it, not Shalamar, Lakeside, The Whispers, or Dynasty. They never toured with the other roster or other R&B bands to promote the album either not to mention no TV performances of any of the songs. Although the group had two promotional videos from the Concept lp, it did'nt help much due to the lack of focus from Dick Griffey plus the other surrounding chaos of which will terminate the Sylvers' careers in 4 years. I think Concept was a great album, but I am stating the facts as to why it did'nt succeed anywhere as near as their previous albums.

The Sylvers. Please bring back The sylvers Album: Forever yours, and Cotton Candy. Thank You A must to purchases

Solid Album. A solid album but not their best... it's worth buying if you want some Sylvers on your iPod. Allow me to join the choir..... iTunes/Record labels step is up! I bought a couple of songs from this cd but ultimately you didn't have what I was looking for. The Sylver's discography needs to be added to iTunes, not a "BEST OF" either. Here's the list, just in case you didn't know: 1972: The Sylvers (Pride), 1974: The Sylvers 3 (MGM), 1973: The Sylvers 2 (Pride), 1975: Showcase (Capitol), 1976: Something Special (Capitol), 1977: New Horizons (Capitol), 1978: Forever Yours (Casablanca) Edmund Sylvers and his brother Forster Sylvers solo projects should be among their collection also. You're welcome.

Cmon Itunes Step it up. What the heck happened....the Sylvers is so much more and bigger than what is showing? ITunes come on...you will need to step it up a bit! The true songs of the Sylvers aren't available and I am very disappointed! This is a staple of soul music back in the early 80's.....

old school. I agree so much with BINC. Bring back those older Sylvers albums. I've been searching all over for them, especially the first one. It's a classic.

missing ingredients. I applaud itunes for having a wide variety of artist in their catalog, BUT.......it seemd that the biggest hits of the artist are never in catalog. How could you not include "It's just a misdemeanor" from this group. There should be an artery of input from your customers, after all the customer is always right!

iTunes, you gotta add the albums Sylvers I, II and III !!!!!!!!. This album is great. O.k. iTunes, can you please add their first three albums for purchase? They're; Sylvers I, Sylvers II, and Sylvers III. They are some of the best albums ever created. The albums mentioned are on the Pride/MGM label. I know you guys can do it. Thank You!!!

Loved this album. This album takes me back to 8th grade. I loved it. "Reach out" is my jam. I see a lot of people asking why all their older stuff isnt on here. I think its because of who owns the rights to the music. this album and the albums of shalamar, dynasty, the whispers etc..., were on solar recards, and Unidisc music owns the Solar cataloge so they put that catalog on here. I think the Sylvers were on 4 different record labels. Its up to the owners of those catogs to release them to ITunes.

"Forever Yours". The group was on fire!!! I have that lost single on cassablanca lable "Forever Yours"!!!! That was a great song!!! That should definitely be in the line-up!!

The Sylvers. Bring back groups like The Sylvers. Itunes where oh where is the Sylvers version of Boogie Fever. Upload it ASAP.

the sylvers. No Fools Paradise, no " Forever yours". Some of us are beyond "Greatest Hits. We need all the artist's music, regardless if it was a major hit or not.

WE NEED MORE SYLVERS. I have to agree! I have been waiting for the old classics of the Sylvers to be posted on Itunes for months... what ever happened to Hotline, Boogie Fever, High School Dance etc? Please Itunes, upload the early Sylvers albums ASAP!!!

I love this group. This was one of my favorite albums as it’s filled with phenomenal cuts that I played as a teenager 😄👍🏼

Very Good Album. This release by The Sylvers on Solar records was terribly overlooked. The songs are solid productions, vocals are awesome. "Come Back Lover, Come Back" is a standout. But please get their Capitol and Pride recordings. Albums like "Showcase", Something Special", "New Horizons", Forever Yours" and "The Sylvers" showed how talented and versatile this family group was. The interchangeable leads on their cuts were just incredible. "Hot Line", Boogie Fever", High School Dance", "Cotton Candy" and the great "Forever Yours" brings back so many memories.

I'm surprised that Itunes even had this album@. I am a huge Sylvers fan. I find it hard to believe that their early albums, for that fact ALL of their albums are not available for download. I love buying great music and its sad that i can't own all of my favorites from them. I am greatful for this album nontheless.
