Very Good Album. This release by The Sylvers on Solar records was terribly overlooked. The songs are solid productions, vocals are awesome. "Come Back Lover, Come Back" is a standout. But please get their Capitol and Pride recordings. Albums like "Showcase", Something Special", "New Horizons", Forever Yours" and "The Sylvers" showed how talented and versatile this family group was. The interchangeable leads on their cuts were just incredible. "Hot Line", Boogie Fever", High School Dance", "Cotton Candy" and the great "Forever Yours" brings back so many memories.
missing ingredients. I applaud itunes for having a wide variety of artist in their catalog, BUT.......it seemd that the biggest hits of the artist are never in catalog. How could you not include "It's just a misdemeanor" from this group. There should be an artery of input from your customers, after all the customer is always right!
Solid Album. A solid album but not their best... it's worth buying if you want some Sylvers on your iPod. Allow me to join the choir..... iTunes/Record labels step is up! I bought a couple of songs from this cd but ultimately you didn't have what I was looking for. The Sylver's discography needs to be added to iTunes, not a "BEST OF" either. Here's the list, just in case you didn't know: 1972: The Sylvers (Pride), 1974: The Sylvers 3 (MGM), 1973: The Sylvers 2 (Pride), 1975: Showcase (Capitol), 1976: Something Special (Capitol), 1977: New Horizons (Capitol), 1978: Forever Yours (Casablanca) Edmund Sylvers and his brother Forster Sylvers solo projects should be among their collection also. You're welcome.
