Awesome collection!. I have been a huge fan since her first album was released and have most of her remixes. The edited, remastered versions of which some seem to be remixed are well worth it! I hope she releases new music soon. The only album I did not care for was Madame X. Really hoping she goes back to what made her an Icon.

While there’s very little to attract older fans (most of these remixes have been already released), this collection offers up a couple of true rarities – the “Impressive Instant” remix has been long sought after by fans for more than 20 years! Some old mixes from Avicii, Calderone, William Orbit and Above & Beyond shine with this new remastering. Unfortunately, this set contains a couple of truly awful remixes from Tracey Young and the worst ever remix of “4 Minutes” you’ve ever heard.

Rehashing the old. Pity she’s not made any effort to release anything new. As someone of her era and a lover of her music, it’s sad she’s made no effort other than to cash in on old works. Lazy actually. Great for new comers I guess but time to put the old girl to pasture.

Too many remixes, too many classic songs missing. Don’t really rate these remixes at all, so many great songs missing as well such as La Isla Bonita, Borderline, Cherish etc which is quite disappointing really. Do not buy

Buy the CD. 4 stars for the music which speaks for itself. Personally I think if the 12” versions were included instead of the edits then it would be a fantastic compilation. Now the reason only 4 stars. £24.99 absolute disgrace in a time of cost of living crisis. Shame on the record label and/or Apple. Buy the CD which is currently £11.99 then rip to iTunes.

Kind Guy.. I’ve just listened to this album, it takes me back to when I was in my teens, listening to Madonna’s first release’s, to me this album is all about all fond memories, there are songs from every decade. Don’t be judgemental, listen to the music, let it bring back fond memories of your past.

Just….. …….THE best. Living legend of pop music! The figures speak for themselves…. Pretenders to the throne of Madonna….read em and weep! The icon has an untouchable talent Simon Cowell tries desperately often to find…The X-Factor. You either got it or you don’t and Madonna has it, still, in bucketloads… When the Jackson Five had their video out for Can You Feel it, those stars they were dishing out over the city, that was the essence of something strangely wondrous and joy giving. Madonna is full of it, brimming over with it, she is the epitome of starlight. Creative, fascinating, enigmatic. Her journey is a continuing journey of adventure and surprise. And…..she makes great music and has done for 40 years! Now, the music, wow, where to start? Well, let’s just say that for a start, these remasters are absolutely pristine. The quality of the tracks is better than the originals on all of them. Like A Virgin sounds incredible, as does it’s follow up, Material Girl. I’ve no idea which process they used but Jeez Louise, these are so effing good! Clarity, rumbling bass lines, all ingredients polished up, brightened up and gifted with a depth they never seemed to previously have! Gorgeous and warm. Believe me, it’s just remarkably good and invigorates me with a new passion for the songs. Play loud! Also, for those waffling on about the whys and wherefors, a lot of fans that are not completists may not have these mixes so they are in for a proper wild treat. To have them collected together here, all remastered perfectly is just that, perfect, and long overdue! I love how this represents her entire career too. Like a modernised catalogue of her progression all in one place. Naysayers…..Shnaysayers! They just haven’t the brain cells nor the passion to face the real truth. Love her or hate her, the figures speak for themselves AND she continues to be a massively divisive legend! Long live the Queen ❤️After all, there is only one….

It’s Not A Compilation…. Reading some of the reviews people are missing the point, it’s track listing is not determined by Madonna or the label but by the songs that hit number one on the Billboard Dance Charts.

Should have been just a greatest hits. Expensive for what it is, poor remixes of incredible songs and milestones. Confessions was her last great time , the rest I could leave it. Really sad someone SO incredible has changed so much both physically and as an artist, but not for the better.

Madge. £24.99 that's me out. Haven't you got enough money Madonna. Ok, so most of the songs are cool except the last 6. Give Patrick Leonard and Steve Bray a call. Just saying.... Update 24/08/22 Why would any one purchase from iTunes when the cd box set is £19.99 in HMV! I wouldn't pay any money as she's had enough off me over the years lol!

A fans dream collection. I’ve been a fan since Madonna appeared in the Tube back in the early 80s. Her back catalogue is amazing. This collection is a fans dream - every single mix on this album shows the strength of Madonna’s ability to perform and change her style.

Disappointed. A HUGE opportunity missed to bring her songs bang up to date with the remixes . Didn’t make it to number 1 in the charts just shows what everyone else is saying . Shame

Queen of pop. Amazing how many songs she has released . Most huge hits . No one matches her impact . This is a great release , time to dance

Terrible choices. I don’t think anyone would have chosen these songs , whoever did in the music industry has lost touch with what the public listen to.

Lazy/missed opportunity. Basically a 'play list' of old remixes that sound dated, repackaged to make easy money. New remixes, mixed together by a DJ, in a non-stop set should have been the way to go. How can it even be called a remix album when the earlier hits are just radio versions?!

Flawless. Flawless collection of remixes - can’t wait to get the 6 x vinyl version! As any big Madonna fan, my only gripe is that she missed off Causing A Commotion which was one of the 50 #1 billboard tracks, and randomly added Physical Attraction. Also Angel deserved a spot with it being a double A side. Still, this album is a result!

Huge Misstep for a legend. 50 hits from an amazing legend is some feat. We all as fans remember and love most of these singles …. So WHY WHY WHY was it not released as “ THE 50 SINGLES” and not ruined by putting irrelevant, awful remixes in their place for a lot of them. Who cares about remixes ? Its the single versions we bought and fell in love with. Sadly don’t be buying unless an original single mix version is released.

A Dance Masterpiece. Enjoyed this album more than expected, yes heard many of the mixes before but to hear them in one place is brilliant. From Madonnas 80 and 90s classics to her most recent which sound just as good. We should celebrate Madonna’s fantastic achievement so far. No one else comes close. The point of this album. The point of this album is to include all 50 numbers ones of her Billboard Dance Club Songs, not a compilation album for what fans would like! This album is specifically for the record she broke for having 50 number ones on a Billboard chart. “Fans” should stop being critical of what Madonna puts on the album when she has a certain criteria to fulfil - a compilation of 50 number ones.

50 number ones…?!. Starts off good and goes down hill with cheap remixes thrown in, as well as some poor tracks (that didn’t make no1) that could have been replaced by some of her abasing ones (that didn’t make no1).

50 number ones 🎉. A fantastic collection of 50 dance hits & remixes. Great achievement and every song deserves the number one spot.

The evolution of an icon!. So, many people on here have missed the point of this compilation - it is the 50 mixes of Madonna’s tracks which reached number one on the US Billboard charts - and they have been expertly remastered - they sound incredible on great headphones or speakers. This was never meant to be a ‘new mixes’ (although always welcome) album. What this is is the evolution of an icon from her earliest track ‘Everybody’ - to ‘I Don’t Search I Find’ - this is a superb anthology. LOVE it!

Give us fresh remixes. I would of loved this collection if there were updated and refreshed remixes of Madonna’s earlier tunes

What a body of work!. Great collection of hits, highlighting the significance of Madonna’s impact on pop music. 50 number ones (US Dance Chart) is a record that is unrivalled and this collection of those 50 hits is a great journey through the hits. From the classic early years sounds of Everybody, through the 80’s and early 90’s when there was not bigger star, bringin it right up to up with cuts from her latest studio album Madame X. This is a journey through 40 years (yes, 40 years!) of hit making and is well worth the ride.

QUEEN !!!!. Some of these remixes defined pop culture. They provided the bluprint for dance music itself! Who else can claim 50 number ones on ANY 1 chart??? Nobody! QUEEN OF POP. QUEEN OF DANCE !!!! Meanwhile Kylie stans (the few simpering old queens she has left) are weeping into their cheap horrid Kylie wines and nasty tacky bed linen. 😂😂😂 For the record Kylie's duff remix album Boombox limped into the UK charts at number 28, then fell off the chart 😂😂😂Finally Enough Love may not have beaten Step but Steps hits package fell out of the top 100 the next week!!! Finally Enough Love stayed in the top 10 for 3 weeks and remained in the top 100 for 4 months eventually selling over 90'000 copies

Missed Opportunity. This could have been epic. But the choices here are 95% boring. The single remixes are such a cop out. Especially vogue, the unreleased shep pettibone promo mix would have been incredible. Video mix of Fever would have been better, the list goes on and on. To quote her highness from Sorry,”Ìve heard it all before”. Nothing new here for true fans unfortunately. Lets hope and pray the special album editions coming from warner will fully realise Fans dreams of unheard material…..

50 dance tracks… Sorted! ;-). When I seen that ‘Secret (Junior’s Luscious single mix) was on there, I downloaded the album straight away! This isn’t a greatest hits album as some people are getting confused with, it’s her 50 best No1 dance tunes remixed & remastered! As an ex-Dj… I could have used this album many-a-time! This is class!

Great collection, but some misses ... and an insane price!. First let me address the elephant in the room - the price. Honestly, it's insane and absolutely ridiclous for the collection that doesn't feature a single new song. It's actually better to buy a CD on Amazon or even directly from Madonna's site for £15.99. Now, about the music itself - what can I say, these tracks are classics ... mostly, although I wish some were replaced with other versions, like the video version of Fever which is superb to the original or The Beast Within Mix of Justify My Love, which is haunting, or even the Immaculate Collection remix of Like a Prayer, or Your Thrill Me mix of Eotica. Well, this is exactly what I have done and replaced them all alongside the 80 mixes of Like a Virgin, Material Girl, Holiday and Open Your Heart, which all sound really dated no matter how much these have been remastered. There are much superior remixes on YouTube and other internet platforms. Remixes of Secret, Frozen, Hung Up and Crave are my top 4 favourites and on a constant repeat. All in all it's great to have these all in one place.
