Highly underrated. This is really quite an excellent album. unfortunately, it gets no respect. No samples of a single song from this album on "Gold," the best Poco compilation available. All songs strong, but Drivin' Wheel, Angel, Faith In The Families, and Just Call My Name are my personal favorites, although RM Breakdown and Krikkit's also very good. This album was my first Poco album, led me to seek out all the others before. This album fills the gap between release of "A Good Feelin' To Know" in 1972 and "Head Over Heels" in 1975; similar to former in regard to performances, more similar to latter relating to the songwriting. Sure would be nice if this became available in upgraded remastered format.

Head for the woods. Fantastic album, my first of many Poco purchases. Also loved “ Good Feeling To Know”. The blend of country and rock make them one of my favorite bands.

My Favorite Poco Album!. However, that's probably because this was the FIRST Poco album I ever bought. Later on, I bought Legend, without ever first hearing a single tune off that album (a friend recommended it), and absolutely loved it too! I said to myself, "Hmmmmm, I wonder what I'm missing on their other albums" so I went out and bought Indian Summer next .... Wow, did I ever hit the trifecta! My favorites on Seven are, Drivin' Wheel, Rocky Mountain Breakdown, Skatin', and Krikkit's Song. With the exception of Legend, my favorite of the many incarnations of Poco has been the Cotton, Young, Schmit and Grantham lineup.

Best Southern Rock album EVER. Time to bring these guys back!. No. Don't argue and, yes, I include The Eagles, Alman Bros, and all the others. Just listen. One day someone like Adam Wakefield is going to bring these amazing songs back. Master writers, musicians, and performers!!! Loved them then and love them now. Maybe they were ahead of their time.

Forgotten Gem. I forgot how good this was . Thank You ! ~

Poco Seven. Better than I remembered - sounds like a lovely marriage of rock and country, reminds me somewhat of Neil Young. Honest, innocent, Americana.
