Always loved the P,P & M's music but.... The right stereo channel of many of the songs on this album sounds like it is turned off. Technical problem with iTunes? or Was the original album like that?

good starting point. this is a great album but I think See What Tommorrow Brings is better.

The Consumate Peter, Paul and Mary defines folk music of the 60's. This collection doesn't miss. It has all of the essential songs that defined PP&M to be part of the 60's folk music revolution. Even today the influences of this music exists in many artists in their accoustic styles- today they call it "unplugged"... but this is the folk music of a generation that should be heard by today's generation. It still holds up very well.

Entering my Time Machine. I first heard sweet Mary's voice from a squeaking speaker of the small transistor radio tuned to 208 meters medium waves, AM. The station's name was Radio Luxembourg (...your station of the stars). I was in my teens, and the world was in it's early sixties of the last century. Instantly, I was overwhelmed by the folk trio. I learned the lyrics of their songs, I practiced to play the tunes on my guitar. "500 miles," "Blowin'In the Wind," "Lemon Tree" and a few other songs in this album became my real ABC of the folk music. Thanks to PP&M I met Bob Dylan, Donovan, Pete Seeger, and "ahead of them all" - Joan Baez. Then I grew up, listened to folk, country and bluegrass every now and then, gradually forgetting Peter Paul and Mary. Radio Luxembourg is long gone, black vinyls lay useless in the cellar... One click in iTunes Store brought me back to my happy, silly days. Instantly. I am amazed.

One of the best. Now, I am not at all a fan of folk music, but this is one exception i make. THis is a pretty great album, sepecailly Puff the Magic Dragon. Great message behind it all. I recommend it
