One of the best examples of classic rock. When I think of pure classic rock, this and CCR come to mind (along with Free, Traffic, etc.) but this is always the first choice. The Beatles were somewhat experimental, Zeppelin played a harder form of rock, the Doors leaned more towards psychedelic, Floyd was progressive and the Stones were somewhat bluesy. But this is straight and simple classic rock. It sprinkles small amounts of blues, folk, hard rock, and even some psychedelic. It all comes together to create a perfect album! If you're a fan of classic rock then you should definitely get this! Every song is bound to get stuck in your head at some point.
If you Like the 60's - Ya Gotta Have this. This is 60's rock at it's best. Even if you did not live in the 60's, you have probably heard the song American Woman by the Guess Who or one of the remakes.

American Woman. Tough for a group back then to be taken serious as a progressive rock band if they were all over the commercial radio too. The GW surprised me and many with this and their next album which do document them as capble of being in the full length record category of that prgressive era. Ok, maybe not remember for it but this and" Share the land "are worthy documents of proof that could keep your interrest for more than 4 minutes...,
VietNam. To those serving out time on a "Southeast Asian Vacation" this was an album that defined some soldiers tour of duty. A Classic album that holds up to repeated listening almost 45 years later.
