well.... the album is a beautiful work, but it's little bit boring. And I hate to say that because I really love Dido and her work a lot. I was little disappointed. Nothing new , really...no surprises.

Mellow and Subdued. These songs seem more airy and subdued than White Flag (an album which I absolutely love!). A few songs sound very reminiscent of Zero 7, which is not a bad thing. I love Dido so I'm glad that she has another great album, and I hope that I will love these songs over time.

This is it?. So I've been waiting for this album since 2003--desperately waiting, but I have to say that I am pretty disappointed. Dido has been my absolute favorite solo artist for years so I was elated to learn a new album was FINALLY coming out. The lyrics are uninspiring and many of the songs sound the same. It's too bad because we probably can't expect another album (to make up for this one) for another five years or so.

Thoughtful... Worth it.. The same smooth and gorgeous voice but with a more sophisticated musical arrangement and thoughtful (less pop) attitude. I'm on my second spin and the disk is already growing on me... If you want to spend a quiet time accompanied by her silky voice, and are not afraid to hear painful lyrics, this may be a disc for you. I am certainly enjoying it! I hope you will too... Just know what you are getting into before you push the buy button and save us from a disgruntled and poorly written review. Cheers!

Safe.... and boring trip!. I must say I have been in love with Dido's voice and music since I first heard her delicate voice doing backing vocals for his brother's project, Faithless. However, I am disappointed. I don't think this new album is good enough and it definitely doesn't justifiy a 5 year absence. It all sounds boring and repetitive. Obviously it is Dido we are talking about here, so one could never say this is a bad album, it just doesn't meet the expectations I had nor does it do anything for me, there is nothing new here. Glad to see so many people on here seem to be enjoying it. I still think it's too average.
