Album is 5 stars iTunes is zero!. How is it possible that I can purchase an album from iTunes and have played it many many times and suddenly one song, While You Were Sleeping, is “no longer available”??? Is it because the lyrics talk about America as a country that wants “save the trees but kills the children”. Is this censorship? Seems like it to me.

Some standout tracks...but not my favorite CC album!. While I do think it's great that Casting Crowns has put out a Christmas album, I just don't think I love the whole thing! "I heard the Bells", "Joy to the World" and "Christmas Offering" (GREAT song!) are definitely the standout tracks for me. However, their versions of "Away in a manger", "While you were sleeping" (updated), and "Sweet little Jesus boy"..are just not my favorites. I will continue to listen to CC though..they're still a good group.

Not for Everyone, but I find it amazing!. I love this album!! But, my wife finds it intimidating. Many of the song strike a very serious, somber note. I think "I heard the bells on Christmas day" is strong and rich, and certainly not like any other version I've heard. My wife thinks it's kinda scary....

don't like the classics?. lets just put it this way, the reason the classics are the classics is because someone wrote them a really long time ago. if you want to hear a bunch of classics done the 'old fashioned way', then go to your church christmas concert (unless you go to one like mine, where we love doing different versions) and enjoy. these remakes by CC are amazing and well done. in fact, i highly doubt that they just 'came up with' a new way to play the song, i'm sure each and every note was truly inspired by their closeness with Jesus Christ. they continue to press the issues that most of the 'lukewarmers' shy away from, and have no problem voicing how sad and upsetting it is and should be to every Christ follower. hats off to these guys yet again, what an incredible testament to the power of God's gift of music. shalom.
