Utterly Forgettable. There's nothing memorable about this album: all pieces are correctly executed, usual dissonant & noisy compositions with idiotic titles the likes of which KC have played since the early '80s, only here there's nothing else, no Matte Kudasai or One Time to provide a dynamic counterpart to the aggressive or apathetic neurosis. Besides, approaches like these have been used much more effectively in Fripp (with or without Gunn) collaborations with Sylvian, too. Fripp is still toying with $50K equipment and producing wind-and-hiss sounds of an $800 synth, and it's all very cliched, very ordinary, very safe, very uninspired, your typical run-of-the-mill frippery for the days when Fripp, Eno, Gunn et al. have to publish something but really have nothing to offer - the description that, sadly, easily describes most of their publications over the last 10 or more years.

Please more fripp. Robert fripp has more solo albums than I can even name so I don't know why his catalog is so limited

Very nice!. There is some amazing playing on these recordings. The improvisations and the interaction between these great masters are very jazz like. Some of the most interesting playing I have heard and very unique. Ive never heard Trey play like this, he’s killing it on this and he seems totally locked in with Rieflin. It's not for anyone that must listen to music with lyrics because there aren't any. Fantastic playing I love it! I recommend this to anyone who is interested in great music and amazing improvisation.

More Demented Frippertronics. Fripp et al show off their chops to a world that just does not care, but if you've liked the Crimson King in the past you will not be disappointed. Nobody plays guitar like he does that's for sure. Clinical, cold, heartless, and brutally surgical--definitely NOT easy listening. You may have to be a musician yourself to fully appreciate the musicianship herein. Enjoy!
