Fantastic. This album is a great way to make legendary music relative to today's culture of music. It takes the classics of John Lennon and puts them towards a good cause. My favorite was Jack's Mannequin's God rendition. That was just plain fantastic. You could here the pain in his Andrew McMahon's voice which really was touching. A+ for all. :)

Such a good cause, odd choice of artists. I commend AI for coming up with a great idea that John Lennon would have been proud of. I think that seeing his music going towards a good cause would make him very happy. However, some of the artist choices on here have me wondering what they were thinking. Why on earth would you have Avril Levigne, a singer mostly known for singing a song entitled "Sk8r Boi," sing "Imagine," which is considered to be one of the greatest songs of all time? Christina Aguilera was out of place too, but at least she can sing and I was pleasantly surprised that I didn't hate her rendition of "Mother." However, the album does have some really high points. My favorite was probably the least known set of artists here: Jakob Dylan and Dhani Harrison have definitely inherited their fathers' talents. Judging from what I know about John Lennon, that track probably would have been his favorite. I suggest going for that one song and skipping the rest of the album.

I was looking through and Jack's Mannequin, my favorite band, doing John Lennon songs? incredible! as I was getting over that, I saw yellowcard on also and wow, What a band!!! Features two of my favorite bands, so yeah, 5 stars! P.S. I swear that Jack's Mannequin is the best, maybe not on this album, but "Swim" is a fantastic song, and Dear Jack is one of the most inspirational movies in the history of ever.
