Welcome to Haiti is very nostalgic with a touch of diaspora reality. Regretfully, out of the 16 songs on the album I was only able to purchase 7 from the Apple Music Store (something happened during downloading). This review, therefore, is partial. I mostly enjoyed Party by the Sea because of the prevalent Kompa beat throughout the piece. Only if there were a little bit more of Sweet Mickey and T Vice! When this album came out, many Haitians envisioned it would have launched the Haitian beat "Kompa" into mainstream America. They wonder why this hasn't happened as has been the case with Soca, Calypso, and of course Reggae? Perhaps other musical geniuses of Haitian descent together with Wyclef will strive to infiltrate the Haitian beat into Hip Hop and Pop. Let's twist it a bit as Wyclef did in Party by the Sea.

Merci, Wyclef!. The songs on the album brings back memories of the music all Haitians grew up listening to; music our parents and grandparents would enjoy from back home. A tribute to the great bands such as Skah Shah, Zin, Septemnationale, and Tabou Combo.

For The Hatians. You have to love Copa to really understand this album. Wyclef mixes Copa with hip-hop to make a great album. Copa has much work ahead if it wants to be the new reagee! On some songs, Wyclef isn't afraid to switch from english to creole. "Lavi New York," "Hatian Mafia" "Fistibal," and "24 E Tan Pou viv" are great songs to donload.

Wyclef.. i like this version of Dance Like This much better than Hips Don't Lie. 911 is pretty cool, too.

Welcome to Haiti Best Ever!!!!!. I am die hard Wyclef fan. I love the fact he mixes the Haitian creole with the hip. It the album tells and makes you feel what a Haitian really is. Great work Wyclef. Keep going!!!!!Sach pach as(excuse my creole!) Jacquie
