Very nice... I like.. This album is very good. Thier newest stuff falls very short in comparison with this album. If you like thier newer stuff, then you will love this CD. Good from top to bottom. I am far from a Nickleback fan. This CD seems to me atleast to have a southern twang to it which i enjoy from time to time.

Sheer Rubish. No wonder Chad Kroeger likes this band so much...they're complete copy cats of Nickelback. Kroeger even co-wrote "Make Up Your Mind," the bands only true hit single to date and the only truly decent song on the album. This is the band that started the "Copycat Nickelback" style of rock so prevelant today and is one of the reasons I find myself increasingly turning to indie material to find good new music.

Love it. Great:) When I first heard of this band, Nickleback didn't come to mind, even though i love that band, too. So what if Chad wrote some of the songs? If you like that kind of music, then this is the type of band for you.. but its not Nickleback, it has many differences.

Stop Bashing Everyone Who Is Involved With Chad or Nickelback!. I'm really freaking sick of these "professional reviewers" bashing any band that sounds, was signed by, or likes Nickelback or Chad Kroeger. Nickelback is the best, and I'm really sick and tired everyone of these summaries of the albums saying, "If you like original, good music, Nickelback isn't for you." What the hell kind of music do YOU people listen to? Anyways, I happen to love Theory of a Deadman & this album, and because they sound like Nickelback is a huge part of it.

Theory's Best Album. Theory of a Deadman has changed a lot over the years. Since this album they've gone for a more polished, mainstream sound, but they've also toned it down a great deal, offering up more softened jilted love ballads. Their first album however, has a great, aggressive, grungy sound. The fast and hard tracks, Invisible Man and Get What you Deserve set the tone of the album that's even carried through in their now trademarked songs about relationships gone wrong. If you like the newer albums from Theory, your favorites on this album will likely be Make Up Your Mind and Say I'm Sorry. As you listen to their entire catalog, you will see how they've gone from sounding like a harder, grittier Nickelback, to a softer, more silvertongued Nickelback. This makes a lot of sense considering that Chad Kroeger discovered them and co-wrote about half of the songs on this album, and that in Canada, Theory's albums are releaesed under Kroeger's 604 record label. This is a great album from start to finish, there are tracks that throw off the momentum somewhat, but all in all, I've always felt that this was a great first effort. And it seems more honest and less cheesy than what they've released since. I always have at least 3 of these songs in my main playlist and a few others in my lighter playlist as well. I miss when Theory sounded like this!
