I love the new song. Nickleback rocks either way

The Guy said. The Guy said all the May the 7th

Clean?. um why do they call it clean when "Invisible Man" still says the F-bomb in it? anyways still good the band is the best you gotta love 'em!

Great Band. These guys are great. They seem to have a LOT OF ANGER. They produce it in a great way though. I would recommend you buy both albums. Theory of a Deadman and Gasoline. Both great CD's.

nickelback. Sounds like pure nickelback, therefore I despise it.

Great Album. I'm not sure why the reviewer thinks they sound like everyone else. I got this album free from a friend and would trade it for most of the cds that I paid for. I can pop the album in and listen to it all the way through (not the case with most of my cds). This is one of the better produced hard rock albums in awhile.

Buy the whole album. This is the first album in a long time that I can listen to the whole thing. GREAT BAND!!!

Great Start. It's not their fault that it sounds so much like Nickelback. Usually everything Chad Kroeger writes or produces sounds alike. Thankfully for me (and for anyone who likes what he does) that doesn't matter. TOAD is no exception, in this debut album they do sound a lot like Nickelback. Now we know that they found their own identity and sound even better than they do in this album. Great tracks are the opener "Invisible Man" ("clean version" featured in the Spider-man album), and two tracks that are catchy as hell "Nothing Can Come Between Us" and "Make Up Your Mind".

Stop Bashing Everyone Who Is Involved With Chad or Nickelback!. I'm really freaking sick of these "professional reviewers" bashing any band that sounds, was signed by, or likes Nickelback or Chad Kroeger. Nickelback is the best, and I'm really sick and tired everyone of these summaries of the albums saying, "If you like original, good music, Nickelback isn't for you." What the hell kind of music do YOU people listen to? Anyways, I happen to love Theory of a Deadman & this album, and because they sound like Nickelback is a huge part of it.

WOW. This album sounds completely identical to one of Nickelback's albums The Long Road

Theory of a deadmen. Is invisible man on the first spider-man soundtrack?

Awesome. I've always loved this band. Never disappoints. Thank you!

Theory is an amazing band.... The first time I ever even heard of these guys was when I went to one of their concerts over the summer...and they rocked the house!!! This is an amazing album by an amazing band...buy it!!!!

Theory's Best Album. Theory of a Deadman has changed a lot over the years. Since this album they've gone for a more polished, mainstream sound, but they've also toned it down a great deal, offering up more softened jilted love ballads. Their first album however, has a great, aggressive, grungy sound. The fast and hard tracks, Invisible Man and Get What you Deserve set the tone of the album that's even carried through in their now trademarked songs about relationships gone wrong. If you like the newer albums from Theory, your favorites on this album will likely be Make Up Your Mind and Say I'm Sorry. As you listen to their entire catalog, you will see how they've gone from sounding like a harder, grittier Nickelback, to a softer, more silvertongued Nickelback. This makes a lot of sense considering that Chad Kroeger discovered them and co-wrote about half of the songs on this album, and that in Canada, Theory's albums are releaesed under Kroeger's 604 record label. This is a great album from start to finish, there are tracks that throw off the momentum somewhat, but all in all, I've always felt that this was a great first effort. And it seems more honest and less cheesy than what they've released since. I always have at least 3 of these songs in my main playlist and a few others in my lighter playlist as well. I miss when Theory sounded like this!

another nickelback??. I know that Kroeger wrote most of the songs but the vocals still sound exactly the same. I doubt it matters because nickelback is huge. thses guys could end up with the same success.

This is a great album!!!. i'm not really sure what the reviewer of this album was listening to when they wrote about it. this is an excellent album. it is fast, heavy, and made of full fledged rock n roll. sure chad kroger has tainted them in their later albums with his commercial friendly nickel-pop, but if you like this band even a little, this is the album to get! if you know invisible man from the spiderman soundtrack, that is only a taste of how awesome this album is. nothing can come between us is my favorite.

Theory is amazing!. I fell in love with these guys when I saw them in concert summer 2006, they are awesome! All the songs on both CDs are excellent so just get the whole CD, you will love it!

Great Rock Album!. Even though the singer's voice does resemble Chad Kroeger's it is still an amazing album from an amazing band!

Sheer Rubish. No wonder Chad Kroeger likes this band so much...they're complete copy cats of Nickelback. Kroeger even co-wrote "Make Up Your Mind," the bands only true hit single to date and the only truly decent song on the album. This is the band that started the "Copycat Nickelback" style of rock so prevelant today and is one of the reasons I find myself increasingly turning to indie material to find good new music.

THEORY OF A DEADMAN HMMM...THEY ROCK!!!. My favorite song in this album is INVISIBLE MAN it owns....well so do all the other song but IM is my favorite...thanks for coming out with this awesome! music

killer debut. this is just as good as scars and souveniors from these guys totally recomed this cd as well as the other two cd.

Nothing special. In a ll honesty it is not that great. I mean the lead singer has a good voice but the music and the lyrics sound so generic it actually made me get up half way though the song. It is not that great and there are other things that sound similar to it that are better.

Heh...nickleback. It sounds alot like nickleback, but i mean who cares alot of things sound like nickleback. It just a style of music. Good album

Let Me Explain..... This Band has got to be the best band of all time!!! My favorite album is "Gasoline" but this album is right up there with it. The best song is"Nothing Can Come Between us" Buy It!!

FALSE! This does not sound like Nickelback!. I have every single Nickelback song. I would know.

Very nice... I like.. This album is very good. Thier newest stuff falls very short in comparison with this album. If you like thier newer stuff, then you will love this CD. Good from top to bottom. I am far from a Nickleback fan. This CD seems to me atleast to have a southern twang to it which i enjoy from time to time.

Great Band, Its Like Nickelback but hey they still rock. I would recomend this CD to anyone who needs a break from all the over played Nickleback crap and wants some new material. These guys are a great band and the 30 second itunes clip dosent do half thier stuff justice. They should get a 5/5 for this CD even though they slipped in a song from the old album, but hell it was the best song off of that album and I think it just adds to this sophmore album.

Best. By far this is Theory's best record. There is not a single flaw on any one of these songs. All just straight up perfection. Buy the whole thing you will not be sorry.

About time. Best Theory of a Deadman album by far

Love it. Great:) When I first heard of this band, Nickleback didn't come to mind, even though i love that band, too. So what if Chad wrote some of the songs? If you like that kind of music, then this is the type of band for you.. but its not Nickleback, it has many differences.

Silver Side Up: Part 2. I really like this album. If you like Nickelback you will like this album. "Invisible Man" is rockin' track. "Make Up Your Mind", "Leg To Stand On", and "The Last Song" are some of my favorites.

Great, but its been done. THis is an excellent album, with great, catchy songs, but it just sounds so much like Nickelback! I was hoping for something a little more original, but since i already have all of nickelback's previous albums, this is a good filler inner.

Original is best. Love this album, Invisible Man is epic.

Great :). I don't see why people complain about 'originality' in bands and artists because when a band is a good band, they're a GOOD BAND. Who cares if they sound similar? Theory of a Deadman are still a great band as well as Nickelback!

WOW!!!. wow i saw nickleback in the MEN arena and luv em but chad needs a bit of originality but i love the album, nickleback and 'theory of a dead man' !!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT. A must buy!
