Simply put, a masterpiece. If you're a fan of Radiohead (which you should be), you won't be surprised with this album. Classic, sometimes beautiful, sometimes disturbing and sometimes a mixture of all three adjectives songs are what this album is comprised of. It's not as deep as a typical Radiohead album, but the Thom Yorke still has a way with words, with his beautifully crafted lyrics in "Black Swan" and "The Eraser." The title and opening track is the highlight of the album, in my opinion. Four piano chords are the basis for one of the most deep and interesting songs I've ever heard. So much goes on, all while demonstrating Yorke's creativity and impressive range (vocal, and knowledge of instruments). Definitely a must buy.

Great. I didn't have much expectations for this album, cuase i find that solo albums of band memebrs arn't usually that great, but this is actually really good. I give this album a 5 cause, even though its not up with most of the radiohead albums,this album is way better than most other band albums out there.

Missing the Band. I am a gigantic fan of Thom York and the Radiohead team in general, and when my brother first showed me this album I was wondering how on earth I didn't own it yet. There are some great moments on this album for sure...the first four songs are really strong and in general the album comes through on the "Listen with your headphones" ear-candy that usually accompanies a Radiohead recording. Thom York's vocals certainly do not disappoint...you should know by now if you like it, and I certainly do. My problem is that while I enjoy the album, it is all forgettable. There are very few moments that I want to listen to again and again...like pretty much every Radiohead album has. In short I just may not be cut out for a completely electronic vibe...J. Greenwood just rips to much!

THOM THOM THOMMY THOM THOM THOM. Amazing, thom yorke is truly one of the legends of music........reminds me of the Amnesiac Radiohead album........ I know Radiohead's opinion on the music industry, but I'd really like to see more of their music on iTunes...maybe they could offer it for free, like they did on their website? (Just a thought.)

Best album of 2006. Thom Yorke's solo project (or as I like to call it "Kid B") was the best album I listened to in 2006. Maybe that's because I think Radiohead's "Kid A' is their best album (and one of the all time bests) but when it comes to electronic music there can be nothing better than this album. It oozes despair from it's very core and challenges the listener to keep listening. It's unbelievable how creative Yorke can be and he holds nothing back creatively on this superb album. It should be known that it's a big step away from the Radiohead sounds and heavily electronically influenced but word on the street is Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead's guitarist) worked a little with Yorke on this album so his influence can be heard if listened closely enough. When I think of electronic music, The Eraser is the first thing that comes to mind and I still have yet to see something trump this in creativity.
