Already peaked. I had so much hope for this artist but he has shown he's going down the same path as many before him, with hitting your peak with your debut album.... compared to blak and blu... this album is crap and I'm not just saying that because of politics… I agree that politics destroys music.... and if you are going to be political… At least be factual…sounds like to me you're calling Trump supporters racist... and you would think that people who suffer the consequences of racism wouldn't turn around and continue to perpetuate racism, acting just as racist if not more.... at least I'm glad I'm not going to waste 10 bucks on this album!!!!

How DARE you GCJr!!. Shut up & entertain me GCJr! How dare you bring down my mood with your actual, real life account of what you & your kind deal with growing up/living in America? It’s not my problem, & furthermore I REFUSE to acknowledge YOUR experiences as truth. So I don’t care to hear about your pain. Just keep singin’ the blues, you know, about my pain. Not yours. And how DARE you claim this land is yours, you know, just like the popular American anthem “This Land is My Land?” You can’t sing that because you’re black & that makes that statement racist & ridiculous! You know we just allow you & your kind to live here as long as you agree to quietly & passively deal with the mental, physical & systemic effects of racism. And how DARE you bring up Trump’s name JUST ONCE to literally describe the geographical location of where you live? Now I gotta whine & complain that the ENTIRE song is “anti-Trump”, & of course “anti-Trump supporters” because WHO ELSE would be the perpetrators of the racism you experience daily? Just stick to sangin’ the blues boy because if I gotta hear about the evils & ugliness of my society & how that affects you & yours, then I’m just gonna label it political, call it crap, call YOU a racist, & stop supporting your music. Hmph (folds arms & puts blinders back on that GCJr. so rudely knocked off my face).

I Dig It!. Gary Clark Jr. keeps getting better. "Low down rolling stone", "What about us", "Pearl Cadillac " are gonna be classics. Btw, I'm pretty much a hard line right winger and I still love the song "This Land", I can appreciate where his emotions are coming from. To the folks that want to rag on him about it: you are missing out on one of the best artists of our generation.
