Strength of the Roots. By far I like the P.O.D. sound of Testify and Payable on Death, those two albums by far are P.O.D.'s best, yes better than Satellite and their latest Angels and Serpents (which the latter was a dissapointment). Stength of my Life is a stand out rock n reggae tune.

THEY DID IT RIGHT!!! IT'S WORTH THE BUY!!!. These guys have always sounded awesome. Their sound is so unique and their music has always been original. Satellite has been my favorite, playing it over and over and over. It never gets old. The next CD was OK. Good tunes but hard to follow up Satellite. This CD is flat out great! Many rate is great but say it isn't as good as Satellite ... I disagree. When I first jammed to it, I thought it was almost as good. Then listening to the songs again and seeing how they are much more diverse in their sound, I felt it was as good. Then listening to it some more and really hearing the lyrics, I do think it's better. It shows how Sonny's vocals have become more polished and the bands sound more distinctive. Their continued inclusion in the reggae/rock sound is absolutely cool. And I love that the rap/rock jams have some heart & guts like on the song, "Say, Hello". With incredible talent like Matisyahu and Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E. and the crazy rockin' riff of "Lights Out" that I got to hear over and over through the March Madness tournament, you really can't get a better buy. IF you like to rock and you like the sound from POD's other CD's, you'll enjoy this one a lot, and even more the more you listen to it.

matisyahu is amazing. Roots In Stereo rocks. if the entire rest of the album sucked except for this one song, it would still get a five, matisyahu is pretty much the best part of this album. if he wasnt there i think that i would not like this album at all. not to say the rest of the album is bad, its amazing, actually, for a while i didnt like it, but now, it makes my day whenever i listen to roots in stereo.

They deserve all 5!. My brother produced the album, got to hang with them during recording, went to there concert backstage in Dallas......and i've been a fan since 8th grade. I have to say, it rocks.

Dissappointed. Wow! That is a BAD wow. I can't believe how mellow this album was! Where is the old POD that I am used to. I am sorry that i spent my money on this album! Hope the next album is better
