Black Sabbath-Seveth Star. Tony Iommi looks handsome and fit on the cover, but yet sad and lonely, only because there is the name of Black Sabbath on the cover. Don't get me wrong i'm a big fan of both, the record company should' of let it go through as a solo work like he wanted since he was the only original member of the band and the cover appears that way, too bad can't undo, I know i'm not the only one who feels this way about it and that is proof enough that the record company was wrong about this, It's not always easy to accept a new lead vocal in a band, but if you'r a fan you can find something in there that you can enjoy, you have to realize that Tony Iommi is the principal drive in the band! That's what i belive anyways…..

Thank God this was the last one. As much as I LOVE Black sabbath and i mean LOVE by the time this cd was made the name black sabbath just became a little rediculous. Sabbath was still good after they lost Ozzy. Hell even when they lost Dio for a while they where still good.(Born again) But after they lost Ian Gillan,Bill Ward, Ozzy, Gezzer, etc. and all that was left was Iommi The name Black sabbath had lost all Meanning. Now With this CD (The only origonal member being Tony Iommi) its.....Not bad but its not really good. Like I said before about the time this cd was released your just plain board of the line up and band. So in closeing don't hate this album because the music is bad(Which it isn't) hate it because the name Black Sabbath is just Plain redicoulous now.

Don't Judge It by the Band Name. This is not a Black Sabbath album, period! Nor was it ever intended to be. This album was meant to be Tony Iommi's first solo album until the record company forced it to be released under the Black Sabbath name. Even at that, this is labelled as "Black Sabbath, featuring Tony Iommi" which is quite nonsensical. Notwithstanding the band name under which they were forced to work, Tony Iommi and Glenn Hughes have a fantastic working relationship that was born with this album. Iommi spews forth some fantastic, bluesy guitar work on Seventh Star and Glenn Hughes is in top form vocally, even if his personal life was a mess at this point. There are some classic hard rock moments on this album and indeed, taken on its own merit, this is a classic hard rock album.
