Dudes. David Mead is phenomenal. Even if this album cost a thousand bucks, it would still be worth every penny. Trust me, you'll be singing these songs in the shower for the rest of your life.

Well worth the wait. When I heard David Mead was recording a new record, I couldn't have been happier. It's a shame I'm only the 23rd person to rate this album, but it is nonetheless FANTASTIC. Another great album David.....

why isn't david mead a household name??. i've been a huge david mead fan for a long time. he's a tough and trustworthy songwriter and one of the finest, most adventurous singers i've ever heard. and one listen to DUDES will demonstrate exactly what i'm talking about. trust me.

Great!. A great new collection of interesting songs! What could be better?

More good stuff from an under-appreciated musician. I honestly do not understand how David Mead is not a more popular artist. He has one of the keenest ears for pop hooks of any musician who has emerged in the last 20 years. He sings exceptionally well, and his lyrics possess depth and emotional acuity. His songs are arranged masterfully. This album is no exception. It is good stuff. His music is candy you never tire of consuming. No, I'm not related, and no, i do not harbor some skeevy secret flame for him.

This should be on every Best of 2011 list. Great melodic pop with impeccable production. Smart lyrics that tell slice-of-life stories set to arrangements perfectly tuned to match the mood. From the very happy morning person of "I Can't Wait" to the consequences of a bad decision in "Knee Jerk Reaction", it's a great musical ride.

Criminally over-looked artist. The fact that David Mead had to rely on financing from his legion of fans to make this album is,frankly,embarrassing. The fact that his fans overwhelmingly supported him and he,in return, delivered another seamless masterpiece is reason to rejoice. He is one of America's preeminent songwriters. If you like this artist: TELL SOMEONE!!!

Yet Another Gem. Exceptional, as usual. Hoping that one day soon David Mead will get the recognition and accolades he deserves. Just listen to the authentic depth and richness of everything he does. There's nothing contrived about any of his work, ever. This guy is most definitely tapped into a creative source that transcends anything even remotely common, putting him squarely into a category of one. Spread the word, for cryin' out loud!

Best of 2011. Perfect pop songwriting and gorgeous vocals. Only mistake is that David misspelled Rachael Ray's first name.
