Not just a cover.. a rebirth. It takes guts to try doing a rock and roll benchmark like "gimme shelter." P.oM. knew what they were doing .Their reveverence for thesong shines through.Propper E chord ramp-up,snarling vocal,lose the piano,keep the blues harp..nice! I'll bet Mick Jagger has it on his I-pod!

A remake as good as the original. I heard this song on the radio and just had to look into it. I like this song as much as the original Rolling Stones version, as a listener and as a musician myself. It's a bit peppier and the guitar and backup singing are very different, so it isn't exactly the same song, but it is DEFINITELY a great remake. Normally, I don't even like Puddle of Mudd, but this particular song seriously caught my ear. Now, I have to go delete something on my iPod and make room....

Amazed!. I love this song and of all the remakes I always thought they sucked and no one can touch the original. Now I listen to them side by side and I can't tell you which I prefer any more. Great cover great job. I doubt they did this cover because of black ops. That's just dumb to think that.

Puddle of Mudd goes Classic Rock!. Love this song! And, done well by Puddle of Mudd! Saw them in concert too. When you listen to an artist in concert, you expect them to sound like their albums. There have been some artists I was very disappointed in.... Puddle of Mudd was definitely not one of them. They rocked the house! Keep it rockin' Puddle of Mudd!!! =D
