Awesome. How did I go this long without finding this album? Ran across a song on Pandora and immediately had to get all the tracks. Great songs to kill time too!

Fantastic!. Ahhhh get this album!!! I love this man's voice! iTunes labels this as country, but only some songs sound country to me (“Simple Song,” “Fly Boy,” “The Soldier And The Oak,” “Moon River,” “Sugar Bugs,” “Say The Word,” and “I Loved Her First”). The rest are a mix of jazz, pop, and alternative rock. The thing I love the most about this album is how no two songs sound alike. Every song is a unique example of eclectic musical genius. Combine that with his creative lyrics and amazing voice, and you get an album of awesome. Now, if you're one of THOSE people who would rather save a few dollars and just pick and choose the best songs, I recommend these: "Anyway" ***** - witty, adorable, charming, fun, geeky. Definitely my favorite on this album. It never fails to make me smile. "I Loved Her First" ***** - He Wrote It First. Haha. If you don't know what I'm talking about and haven't been listening to Heartland, then you should know that this is a heartwarming song from a father to his son-in-law on his wedding day. Get it. "Fight For You" ***** - cute, playful… I don't know how else to describe it. Just listen. "Say the Word" **** - Ah it's so sad! Lovely country song of love long lost. "She Is" **** - sweet, romantic :) "Bottle of Tears" *** - Love the lyrics. "Blue Dog" *** - A song about a stuffed animal? Heck yes. "Old Man and the Clock" *** - so chill. "Fly Boy" *** - pretty good, but not my favorite. I do like the chorus. The other songs are alright too, but if you want to get any others you might as well just buy the whole album. Avoid buying “Intermission” - Random instrumental with people talking in the background at a dinner party. It literally sounds like an intermission in the middle of a performance. Interesting idea, but doesn't make for good listening.

Can't get enough. I love a great combination of beautiful music and lyrics that tell a story, which is relatively difficult to find nowadays. This guy has it all, I simply wish there was more to listen to.

Incredible. This is the first full album I've bought since downloading individual songs became the norm 20 years ago.

A little something for everyone. Elliott Park has a style that can vary and adapt, and this is showcased in Fly Boy. Ranging from the instrumental “Intermission” to the simple, intimate feel of “Blue Dog” and “Simple Song” that comes with the acoustic aspects, to the electric guitar accents of “Fight for You”, his music has a wide appeal. Still, all of his songs are rooted in the folk/country genre. Especially suggested for fans of Jack Johnson, as Elliot Park’s music has a similar feel and sound.
