Graduation. I love this album. It was the first thing I wanted to listen to as I got into the car after my graduation ceremony. It's definently feel good music :)

Disappointing. I really wish he wouldn't have sold out. His gym class heroes days were awesome but the minute he went solo he went all T-Pain on us. T-Pain your a tool. There are two good songs on this album as far as i'm concerned and they're akidagain and Dr. Feel Good because they are the only songs without auto-tune or some punk singing in a girl voice (Bruno Mars). Honestly I think he raps for a combined 4 minutes if you bear through all the auto-tune and other crap he put on this album. My suggestion to Travie, actually rap and don't sing like a little girl.

stolen!. i dont mean to bash travie for doing a terrible job but... he kinda stole "we'll Be Alright" from Supergreass. and the original is SOOOOO much better. (i am only reviewing this one song because i dont like travie enough to listen to the rest). but yeah the only thing changed in Travs versioon was like a couple lyrics. plus i dont think its right to make a "cover" just as soon as the original is out... but its not a cover. i dont think that travie gave any credit to to Supergrass. (I could be wrong but i havent found it yet.)

Wow! *Impressed!!. Travis' voice passionately delivers each lyric on this entire album! I'm looking forward to his next album. "Need You" really speaks to the every heart that has every been b r o k e n...

One good song. Suberbad. All the other songs are week. If he stuck to that type of song I would purchase the entire album. I previewed the other songs and couldn't hardly believe it was the same person.

If it wasnt travis, it woulda sucked. This album in some ways exceeded my expectations but I was looking forward to a somewhat hip hop album. although it disapointed me in that sense, it wasnt that bad a pop album. travis has flow and that carries over to other genres he may choose to go into. Its worth a listen but dont buy. Listen to The Quilt instead or his cousin Tyga, Fan of a Fan is where its at. But anyway summer is over so most of the music on the album is not in season. Superbad really did it for me though, I like his rock transition better than the pop sound. Good thing travis is uber talented or else this would have bombed big time.

Love It. I've been a fan for year's before all the hype and the change from Travis to Travie, I've enjoyed his talent, his swag, his soul. An amazing artist absolutely one of a kind. I'll support and rock till the last album/song drop's!

Love it. I don't care what anyone says about it "sucking" because I has auto tune,Bruno mars or album only songs(you're better off buying the whole album anyways since it's amazing). A Really Good album!. I won't give it a 5-star, it deserves a 4.5....and that is because not all songs are awesome. But the ones which are, they are just mind blowing!! Especially the songs "Billionaire", "We'll be Alright", "Need You" and "Superbad"...they are just awesome! A must buy!

Masterpeice by just a slide.. I like this album but i think it could have been a little better though but hey did he not just begin so well i have to give the guy probs and i would prob say kudos and get this alb heck, get it its fire for a rookie :)

Alright - sampled. Heard the 'We'll Be Alright' song on the radio the other day. Thought it was a cover at first, but see it's just the melody for the chorus/main hook that's sampled. Liked it better as the Supergrass song, 'Alright.' First heard it around 1996.

Lazarus McCoy. This is a great album! My favorite songs are “The Manual” ft. T-Pain & Young Cash and “Mrs. Tattoo Girl” ft. T-Pain.

YES. This is my second favorite album right now. I've always liked Gym Class Heroes, more for Papercut Chronicles & Cruel As School Children than The Quilt, and Billionaire really hit home for me, so I knew I'd like Lazarus. I was surprised to hear him sing on a few of the songs, and that it didn't sound horrible or use any kind of autotune-esque effects. Need You, After Midnight, and Superbad are my favorite songs that he sings on...especially Need You. That song gets me so hyped, no matter what kind of mood I'm in. Love it. Also, She Did It, the bonus track. And of course his rapping is just as top notch, but I've always been a fan of his flow and style so I guess I'm biased. And even though I was reluctant to hear The Manual with T-Pain I like that one too, and Ms. Tattoo Girl. Just...every song on here is a hit to me. I play this entire album on a loop all the time; it's got the perfect summer feel, a nice variety of songs, and is just awesome to me. Five stars for Travie :D Also...if anyone does read this, Travie is NOT separating from Gym Class Heroes. This is just his own side project. From what I've heard him say in interviews, in fact, GCH is actually gonna be coming out with a Papercut Chronicles 2 album pretty soon here, going back to their old sound from their PCC1 days. True fans of GCH (like myself) be on the lookout for that!

Not so much. I'm a huge gym class fan I was excited to hear that Travie had a solo album coming out but I'm really disappointed. This album is very generic, there's nothing special about it. It has a song with kids, a song thats a sample of another song, a song with t pain and his auto tuner it's the same equation every other hip hop artist uses. I expected a lot more:(

Not exactly Gym Class Heroes, but.... Travies efforts into crossing over as a solo act are definitely noteworthy. His original hip hop style stood out when he was with GCH, especially on As Cruel As School Children, and I can't say that I don't miss it. But this album, although different, is worth a listen. Every song can stand alone as it's own single, and I like that we get to see another side of him. I'm pleasantly surprised that he did a majority of singing on this album because it shows what a versatile artist he is and how much potential he has to keep growing as a musician. It's feel good pop music, and I couldn't ask for more from Mr. Mccoy.

I.LOVE.THIS.ALBUM. I didn't have a clue that Travie was starting a side project. I've never been too thrilled about side projects started by members of bands I like. They always seem to disappoint me. I found out this project about a month before the album came out when. I won tickets through a local magazine to a Cobra Starship concert. To my surprise, the second opening act just so happened to be Travie McCoy. I immediately fell in love with the songs. They are so catchy, but not annoying when you listen to them 20x in a row (Trust me, I know). I still listen to it constantly even 3 months later.

Better Than Most. I won this album in a Tap Tap Revenge weekly contest. It has its good songs, but some of them are pretty bad. Need You, Superbad, and Billionaire are GREAT, Dr. Feel Good and After Midnight are pretty good, but Akidagain is just weird...

hmmm. i have only heard need you and its good and if all the other song on this cd are like that then it should be a really great cd:)

Good Debut Travie!. "Need You" is definitely one of the best tracks on the album...and Travie didnt even rap on it. I think I expected a little more from Travie, especially because I'm a big fan of Gym Class Heroes. And I know that this isn't a Gym Class album, but I hoped he would have taken it to a more lyrical, "rawer" sound. Don't get me wrong, the pop-ness works and Travie will do great, but i've listen to the album twice and have moved on.... Still a decent album :)

Pretty Good. Has some very good songs but not all of them are good but most are. Standouts are "Dr. Feel Good feat. Cee-Lo Green" by far the best. Others are "Billionare feat. Bruno Mars" We'll Be Alright" "Ms. Tattoo Girl feat. T-Pain" Overall 4/5

Forgettable. It's ok for an easy listening/r n b/ hip hop album but it's nothing new and gets boring before the end of the album. I don't like the sampling of Supergrass either. Standard stuff, nothing new.
