Although "Blown Away" is such an amazing album, this album will always be my favorite because this album made me become a huge Carrie fan and it is the first album I ever bought of hers! I bought this cd when it came out.... And I still sing all these songs. I love this album, and her most recent album sucked big time for me. I miss her songs before. Now, she's more raunchy and edgy which looks good on Miranda Lambert. Her songs aren't as country anymore. =/

All of her songs on this album are wonderful, but those were the ones that really stuck out for me! Carrie Underwood is MY idol!!:)

GREAT!. Carrie Underwood has an AMAZING voice. Some of my favourites on this album are: "Mama's Song" "Temporary Home" and "Change" Also, "So Small" and "Just a Dream" are amazing. Carrie has very powerful vocals. She totally deserved to win American Idol.

Talent in every song!!!. I have honestly never really been a big fan of Carrie Underwood, but now I LOVE her! She has an amazing voice and great songs. Her music is counrty but it is almost like pop too. It is a mixture of both I LOVE it!!!! My favourite song would be Quitter and Play on is really good too! But at the end I love them all!!!

Strong 3rd Album. Play On is an amazing album. From the upbeat tempos like "Cowboy Casanova" and "Songs Like This" to the tear driven ballads "Temporary Home" and "Someday When I Stop Loving You" to the amazing collaboration with Sons of Slyvia "What Can I Say?" this album has many gems on it and everyone will find a song they like. I personally think its a huge growth from her latest effort "Carnival Ride" due to the fact she co-wrote seven of the songs on this album which I do enjoy very much. However I do find that there were some filler songs like; "Look at Me" and "Unapologize" as well I found "Quitter" and "This Time" were very similar in beat. Overall though a very fluent and strong album and I do enjoy listening to this album whenever driving around town or just spending an evening trying to relax listening to music.

More of the same. Every song on this album sounds the same, except for Cowbow Casanova which is probably the only ok song on there. Also, her vocals are always annoying and painful to listen to. I don't know how people can buy this.

Fabulous!. I was trying to write a review for a couple songs by themselves but I couldn't so I'll do it on here! First, Cowboy Casanova. It's crazy awesome! And Undo It is also crazy awesome. I used to think I wasn't a country music girl. Then I was introduced to incredible people like Carrie Underwood and Taylor Swift, and introduced to Lady Antebellum's hit, "Need you now." Boy, did that change. Now my favourite music is pop AND country! Rock on! Or rather, country on!

Excellent pop-country album. I like country but I don't love it. If you're in the same boat as me don't worry about getting this album, it straddles the pop-country line really well, it doesn't get bogged down in the really country elements some people can't stand (BBQ stains on tshirts and tractors). It's light at times (Cowboy Cassanova), has strong ballads (Change), and everything in between (What Can I Say). Surprised me how much I liked this album, it's versative sounding with lots of personality. Listen to a few of her singles, if you like them get this album!

The bottom line is.... I HATE country music... but there's something about Carrie Underwood that makes me appreciate it a little bit more. The only country I'll ever listen too will be Carrie's songs. Ever since I saw her first audition on American Idol, she won me over. She is so talented; a musical genius yet very humble and real. What a phenomenal role model for girls all over the globe. We'll be listening to her music for a long LONG time!

Carrie, what happened?. Really disappointing. I have her albums, really enjoy them and bought 'Play On' blind with the expectation of greatness. Her voice is beautiful but the melody is bland and the lyrics are juvenile. Listening to it, even as background music, is grating.

Beautiful ballads plus. 'Play On' continues Carrie Underwood's hit maker potential. There are pop friendly songs like 'Undo It' and 'Unapologize'. My favourites are the ballads on this album. 'Temporary Home' is a real tearjerker. 'Look At Me' also great. I really like 'Someday When I Stop Loving You', a classic country ballad. Something for every taste.

Underwood Makes Country Fun. Carrie continues to Play On.... Play On is Carrie Underwood's third studio release since her win on American Idol. Since her win on Season 4 of the show she has fully established herself as a mega-superstar in the country world. With eleven #1 singles and 3 hit albums to her name, this reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year does not disappoint! Play On shows a lot of growth in Carrie's abilities as a songwriter and as a vocalist, while still remaining true to her style showcased on previous records. Aside from the lead single, Cowboy Casanova, my instant favorite was Songs Like This. It's such a fun, upbeat song that you can't help to sing along to. Other faves from the album include This Time, Unapologize, What Can I say (featuring her former fiddle player Ashley's band Sons of Sylvia), Quitter, and Undo It. She really showcases her vocals on ballads such as Temporary Home and Change as well. This whole album has something for everyone and I highly recommend it to any fan of today's popular country music, especially if you are a fan of any of Carrie's other work.
