An Achievement. Interesting, well-produced beats, melodies and solid, theologically sound lyrics. Shai is not only godly, but intelligent, thoughtful and witty. Always welcome cameos by Stephen the Levite and Timothy Brindle. Convicting and thought-provoking. One of the most edifying records I can think of.

im just bein real. yo for real, this album is weak.. it honestly sounds like hes preachin just with a beat over it. theres no character when he ryhmes in this album. he sounds like he was chosen to teach a class and they asked him to rhyme while he teaches but they added beats in the backround so that they can call it hip hop. im sorry, i honestly love this guy shai linne has the potential to be able to ryhme like pharaoh monche. but it seems his heart isnt into his work this album put me to sleep.and not in a smooth and jazzy way. im tired of christian hip hop artists not giving there 100%. even in his songs he sounds like he himself is bored his last album was dope though..shai linne i gotta message for you if you read this. if someone is forcin you to do music its ok to say no......

Sometimes awkward and heavy-handed, sometimes excellent.. "Were you there" and "Jesus is Alive" are great tracks. The rest just tries too hard and falls flat. Christian music needs to be about the music first, then let the message follow, otherwise it's just preaching - the majority of this album is guilty of that.

Righteous. Simply put. Catchy hooks mixed with blessed lyrics projecting God's Righteousness and glorifying Christ for all to hear that it may strengthen the saved and open the eyes of lost. Best kept secret. If you are into Christian hip-hop this is a must have album. Christian or not, Shai Linne is one of the best lyrisists on the planet and I think his 2 albums prove it. If you like that raw, eastcoast, underground sound as well as a positive message, it doesn't get better than Shai.

You need to buy this!. I think this album is amazing because of the depth of its lyrical content. If you love the word of God you are going to be blown away by each one of these theologically truth packed songs. Personal favs are: 2,4,6,12,16,18. But make no mistake though, the whole album is fantastic. I think I heard Shai say that it is kind of like watching the Passion of the Christ. Don't buy this album if you are wanting to be entertained, it's not like that. It is serious truth about the most awful and awesome event in history, that is The Atonement.

I had never heard of him i just happened to buy (the greatest story ever told) yesterday and lets just say im back today and im getting every album he has! I like quite a few gospel rappers but i like his writeing best of all. He is an asset to the gospel rap industry and i personally would tell anyone who is interested to diffinantly get at the very least (the greatest story ever told) Its realy is a great story made into a GREAT song! much love for this man.
