No Sam & Dave Bonus Tracks?. A modified reissue of the 1967 Sam & Dave album. It only has one official hit ["Soul Man"] but includes the tasty 'B' side "May I Baby". The CD makers have fiddled with the original LP line-up, only giving us five songs in stereo, the rest in mono. Also missing, the rare LP version of "Soul Man" which was in STEREO and includes an alternate vocal take. At just eleven songs total, you'd think there'd be room for that and other bonus tracks.

Soul Man Stereo Version. Contrary to the May 7, 2010 review, this now has a stereo mix of Soul Man with the alternate vocals. You can chiefly tell the difference in three sections that appear to be edited in the mono mix: 1) The intro and first line - in stereo he sings "Comin' to YA" as opposed to "...you." 2) There's an edit at "I was educated." In stereo he sings "AT Woodstock." And 3) after that verse there is a portion edited out in mono, but present in stereo where they sing over each other at about 1:45. There is a lot of tape hiss evident compared to the more common mono version found on most of the compilations. This is the only album I've found on iTunes as of this writing that has this version.
