ok but.... i only previewed hemorrhage i dont see much of a reason to buy the album but its a 3 because the new guys vocals seem like he could change to make it sound more like brett

Eh. I wasn't feeling this CD. They should change the band name because it just isn't the same old Fuel. It was ok i guess but old Fuel is way better

That album review is ridiculous. To call this album more generic than Daughtry is absurd. I'm not going to say that Angels and Devils is a great rock album, but at least it's rock. The crap that Daughtry put out for Simon Cowell is lollipop, Top 40 crap. Daughtry allowed himself to become a bald version of the Backstreet Boys on Steroids. He is singing cookie cutter songs written by people interested in appealing to the masses instead of making real rock and roll. Fuel is a rock band. Daughtry is Brittney Spears with a soul patch.

Awful. This is an extremely boring albums. The only decent songs are Not This Time, Hangin Round, Halos of the Son, and Angels Take a Soul. The other 9 or so songs are pop-rock-radio-fashioned filler. This is a real disappointment after Natural Selection.

Wow I miss the other guy.... Their former lead singer had a certain edge to his voice you don't hear very often. This new guy sounds too pretty , and when he attempts to add an edge or roughness to his voice it's quite awful. So long Fuel.

Band. It irks me when people get on here and because the band doesn't sound exactly how they think it should, they give it a 1 or 2 star rating. If you don't like it, well then don't buy the album. Don't give it a negative rating unless you really think the music is terrible. I liked Fuel's older stuff, but I really like this album, may not sound completely original, but what does these days. Overall good album, "Gone" is definitely worth buying if nothing else. Id give it 4 1/2 but it wont let me.

cool. so is this band christian..?? i heard they where kinda.... i like the muisc sound...thanks guys..!

A Welcomed Change. sorry to report to those that are old school fuel fans but this cd is by alrights a welcome changed. ive grown very tired of the old sound that they had gotten into. Similairly disturbed has reached that pinnacle as well. So atleast they went out there and put out a cd with out the benefit of the original voaclist. Id rather see a band pick themselves up and do it all over again than start up new and be knocked off. And so what if they used the same name? Not any worse than guns and roses. How do you have a cd without slash, but they pulled it off. Lower the tempo and cut oit the background sounds alittle and it would be much Better. Vocally, brett was good but take a listen at the live version the new guy has done with falls on me and brett's in studio sound, The new vocalist has in all manners better control as does daughtry. Its just to much background music other than that i welcome the change and hope they stick with it. Would love to see, chad k, Daughtrey, theory of a deadmans lead, scott stapp, and this guy do a rock ballad together would = craziness with the right song.

Rocktilidie. Best fuel album by far!!

dry. brett scallions was f-ing awesome. this album is an f-ing disgrace

Fuel??? I don't think so.. I guess Brett DID have an influence in the creative writing process. Sorry Carl

Maybe I'm just biased?. Overall, I think this is a great album, but I refuse to actually purchase it because the voice on the cd is NOT Brett Scallions. I think he's kind of like the face of Fuel and without him, the songs and albums just aren't the same. If you noticed, Fuel went down hill when he left, or at least I think so, but maybe I'm just biased? So I gave this album a three out of five stars (not just because of the singer) because its a good album, but it's missing that little taste of Brett.

NICEEE. LOVE IT LOVE THE VOCALS TORYN HS A CLEAR PITCH/TONE TO HIS VOICE. IT'S LIKE YOU CAN ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT HE'S SINGING.... GREAT JOB

ehh.... man this is a sad story. these guys went through as much change as when creed became alter bridge, but they went in the completely opposite direction. people are saying that Green is a better singer, but Scallions had such a distinct voice that just gave Fuel their unique sound and i definitely wish he was on this album. without scallions, i would have just renamed this band completely. in the context of them as a new band, I would say they're okay, but nothing to get excited about.

AWESOME!!!. This is BY FAR their best album. I just recently picked it back up.

No Brett, No Fuel. This is not fuel its the garbage Brett Scallions left for them to pick up

Decent. This is a start to a comeback for Fuel. It's obvious that the new lead singer was an emergency fill-in for the Chris Daughty misfire. I am a huge fan of Daughty's new band, but I would love to see the reviews this new album would be getting had Chris become the singer. It's overall a decent album.

Awesome. I was "iffy" about seeing Fuel w/the new singer but was very surprised...he does Fuel justice. They were awesome live and after seeing them I went and got the CD. Fuel still rocks!

well worth the money. i am a huge fan of fuel and toryn rocks. this album is well worth the money and i recommend it to anyone who loves the group.

A shell of what was. To be brief if you were like me, you were looking for the new lead singer to sound like the original and well came up sadly disappointed. I will say that he has his own unique sound and certain songs are innovative and original. The three acoustic tracks were terrible, and unfortunately will keep me from buying a concert ticket. Hopefully there will be a next album and it will be a better showing.

meh. I don't like the sound. Simple as that.

Not So Much. While the studio sounds of this new so called 'Fuel' are not too bad, the live acoustics are horrible. The lead singer tries to evoke the emotions that the former lead could produce easily, and he is trying too hard. I was disheartend to hear several of my favorite, older Fuel songs mangled by his attempt to sing them. There is nothing wrong with studio only bands, as long as they Stay In The Studio and don't try to play live. It sounds like bad kareoke night at the local bar. And that is the sad thing really about this album, they sound not so much like a cover band, but a bad high school garage band.

sweet. good album... "forever" is my favorite

I want more!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Love the new guy. I want a video for leave the memories alone - won't happen too long since album was out.

Carl Bell's Band. While Fuel has been dormant for awhile because of the departure of their lead singer, they did find a replacement and it was probably a good thing that Chris Daughtry ( he's done very well on his own) didn't fill Brett's shoes. I would consider this a good rock album, though not great as in that you can't get it out of your cd player. I would consider this a Carl Bell project as opposed to a band project since he seems to be the driving force behind the band. The songs are pretty good, but they do miss something as far as the classic Fuel sound. Never a big fan of the f word in music (I really think it takes away from the song and pretty much just sounds awful) and since they really hadn't used it in their previous releases (unless I just missed it) I was a little surprised by track number 3 being led off with it. But I guess that's how it is today. Artists not brave enough to show a little creativity in their lyric writing, instead just giving in to the use of expletive's. So, for my taste I like most of the songs and some prove catchy, enough so to hold your attention. I will agree with the one reviewer as in that you really can't compare the band now to what they were even though it's hard not to, at least for now until they get several album's under their belt with their current lead singer.

Awsome C.d.. Listening to the examples, its a great a band with an awsome voice. From reading all the reviews, some of the negative reviews of people about this really need to move on and accept the change.

I Would Pass On This, If I Could Reverse Time. With the only exception to the artists (guitar, bass, and espically drummer), this album is aweful! The singer sounds the exact same in every song with a shakey vocal chords. Its as if he has something stuck in his throat. He uses it way too often and ruins the whole CD. I can't believe they screwed up this bad with him. The band needs to stop and figure out a new way to work around this guy because this doesn't cut it all, espcially for Fuel. The new drummer however is great. He does an awesome job, if not better than the first drummer. The rest of the band is the same, but thats perfectly fine because that's who fuel is. But the singer destroys the the whole atmosphere for this album. I would definatly pass on this album, if only I could reverse time.

Maybe coulda changed name.. Maybe. I see where everybodys coming from not wanting to like this album cause of the singer change, but come on! Give the album a chance and oh my god its awesome. Every song is great and I love the new guy. The other Fuel albums had songs that werent very good, this one is 5 star song after another. If you didnt have the whole singer change to complain about and heard this cd without thinking that, all of you would love it and have nothing bad to say.

Objective Review. I'll be honest, I haven't listened to this whole CD yet so I can't give a complete review. But I have listened to 'Angels Take a Soul,' and that one song is just so amazing I had to write a review about it. If you're not willing to buy the whole CD (entirely understandable) this song is, without a doubt, worth the mere .99 cents.

The Death of a Great Band!!!. I have always been a huge fan of Fuel......this is the first time I have heard the new 'Fuel' and I can't listen to it.....the worst part was hearing them do the 'old' songs....I miss Brett.....Fuel is gone...

Justin Credible. Found out about them from WWE and took a gander at the preveiws here and cant wait to get my hands on.

Bad album. What happen to Brett why did he leave the band I wish the old fuel was back together and make a different album then this

Skip this. The new singer blows. I'm glad they called it quits. Terrible terrible album.

Fuel Angels and Devils. I just realized that the lead singer has been changed. This new guy rocks! The more I listen to this album, the more I like it. Halos of the Son and Angels Take a Soul flat out rocks! Wasted Time is also a great song. I especially like how they have integrated some of the sounds of the old Fuel music with the new. ie... "ahhhh hhaaaaaiiiiiii" I can't wait for more!

sweet!!!. fuel is a great band i love the song (Gone) it's like so good.you just got to get this album. well done by fuel.

It's not THAT bad. I have the same feelings as the next guy, Fuel was better before Kevin and Brett left, but that doesn't mean this isn't a good album. To be honest if Fuel would've changed their name [which they might have well have ex. blink-182 to Angels and Airwaves] we all probably have never heard of this album. If I would've heard that a couple guys from Fuel started a new band chances are i would not have made much of an effort to see what they sound like. However, since i heard FUEL came out with a new album I looked the album up, read the review, was about to turn away since I found out it's not the "real" Fuel but i heard Wasted Time and was impressed so I listened to the others. I must say the old Fuel impressed me more but this album is still a good album. If you didn't feel like reading my review here are my top 5 songs from the album. 1 Wasted Time [whichever mix you want] 2 Leave the Memories Alone 3 Gone 4 Scars in the Making 5 I Should Have Told You

toryns great. toryns voice shines on this album NO DOUBT...

Alittle dissapointed. Brett was such a better vocalist than the new guy, you can hear the difference in this Cds version of hemorrahage in my hands compared to previous versions where brett is singing. Fuel is still a rock band, but its watered down.

Level-Setting. I think we can all agree the last two albums do not have a single song in the category of Shimmer, Bittersweat, Sunburn, Hemorrhage, and Innocent. However, there are some songs on both albums that are as good as the next tier of Fuel songs such as Falls On Me and Bad Day. Some times loyalty is blind and objectivity gets lost.

different band, different sound. ok, i loved fuel. the old fuel. the lyrics were felt with his voice. this new guy is kind of starting to sound like daughtry... but worse. leave the memories alone and forever are the better songs of the album, but i have to say that if you had played the song on the radio i would not have known it was by fuel, cuz it's not. its a different band now. oh well, change is good.

All that shimmers.... Has definetly faded already. For those who grew accustomed to the classic Fuel sound, look elsewhere. This band is Fuel only by name, not by sound. The new singer's voice is too nasal, and sometimes seems lost in the mix. Even when you can hear him, it's not that great sounding... Granted, he hits the notes well, and is technically a talented singer. But his voice just doesn't match the sound of the band. It's been said time and time before, but they just sound cookie-cutter now. If Scallion were still with them, who knows, but the whole writing style has changed dramatically as well. Yes, they did so to match the current state of rock music. But maybe they matched it TOO well, because now they sound like everyone else. The new drummer does an excellent job of filling his position however. Maybe after a couple more albums they'll get their sound sorted out, but for now, they're trying too hard to be a blend of old Fuel (which they aren't doing very well) and current rock (which they shouldn't be worried about). I'm not even sure I'm going to keep this album in my library, honestly...

Thanks Ric!. Fuel can thank Ric Flair for selling this album...er...at least Leave The Memories Alone. Here's your dollar...

Not sure about comparing singers. However this is a great listen. every song is pretty good anf flows nicely. It rocks out with many many good songs. Its really good. Do not be fooled byt those who like one singer or the other.

What the. Fuel is my first favorite rock band and i was excited when i heard they were making another CD. when i bought the cd they changed the lead singer and drummer. this album would have been alot better with Brett. the only good songs on here are, i should have told you, wasted time, and scars in the making. It's not even fuel anymore, change the name.

Sorry.... Fuel will never be the same. Brett made this band's 3 top songs Gold with his voice... now it just seems they are done. Fuel shoulda gave up when he left. I don't think they'll ever achieve a great hit like Hemorrhage ever again. Decent album, but I just can't get use to the sound. Their old stuff was better.

Good sounds but only for a cover band. I just bought this album... It took me this long to buy it since it was released. I shouldve left it as unpurchased. Not saying it's bad... Just saying that Carl is a great composer and that The songs need Brett. They shouldve not rerecorded the old fuel songs. I feel like I'm listening to a cover band who happens to have a singer that really really wants to emulate Brett ... Oh well 12 bucks I'll never see again.

listened only once.. this album does not have the appeal to listen to it more than one or two times over. I used to love Fuel and their sound, but they sound like their cousin, Nickelback, and that is a sad story. over produced music, all sounds the same. and the singer does not have an original sound. he is trying to sound too much like Fuel's former singer. do not buy this album. it is lacking something...

New Fuel. People inherently don't like new music (That's why there's the three time test [listen to it three times and then you start to warm up to it]). Take the fact that there are 2 new members....people inherently don't like change too. Up to 2 strikes now. But trust me, buy the album and listen to it 3 times....you won't have to wait for the third time--it's a great album. Listen to the acoustic live versions of Hemorrhage (very smart move on the bands behalf) This gives you the ability to judge for yourself. The new guy holds his own and actually sounds better. Good luck Fuel, you got two strikes, but your album is a home run.

The old fuel died.. I miss the original Fuel (2003 back). They were unique. This crap is way too mainstream, almost emo-rock. I don't like it.

One of the best CDs of 2007. This CD is incredible straight through. I am sure some Fuel purists will be upset due to a new front man, but the bottom line is this is great music, with great vocals. Honestly, I feel this is Fuel's best work to date.

Finally. Welcome the new lead singer. Been a long time coming Pleasantly surprised this abum is pretty damn good

WWE. Wrestling is gay. Why Fuel let a song on there is beyond me...probably a publicity stunt for some extra fans. Anyway, this is Fuel's best. After losing two members, they pulled off their greatest album yet, astonishing me for sure. Every song on the album is good, as opposed to only a few good songs on each previous album. 5/5, too bad Toryn and Carl didn't stick around to sequel this masterpiece. Good luck, Brett.

Flair Forever!. Leave the memories alone was Ric Flair's Farwell song. It's amazing... theres just one more thing to say, Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

Surprised. After the departure of a drummer and a lead singer, it should have spelt the end for Fuel. Thankfully Bell is still one of the best songwriters out there and they found the suitable person to take over as lead. Well done!

great. leave the memories alone was played during ric flairs farewells adress and i thought it was good and not only that song is good the abulm is good

Fantastic. Another brilliant band I just stumbled across 10/10 fantastic

Thanks genius!. Like the title suggests only heard of them through genius, but am do glad feel in love with them by track 2!!
