Relaxx with Jaxx. What can I say, I've been a fan for ages. I likes. If you are into mainstream "American pop music" , look elsewhere.

Great Start Jaxx.. Rare is it ever that I here imaginative lyrics and soulful blends like herbs added to flavor something up and it works here folks with tunes like HUSH BOY. Nice job and may I add that next time you should focus on your club beats a little more since this is your power point. I purchased several you should pick up some for yourself.

City Lights. I work at a hospital in chicago. At the end of a long, hard day, I will drive home through the city when it is all lit up but barely anyone is out. It's a different world at night. There is only one song that I will listen to everytime I drive home at night and that's "when the lights go down". Do yourself a favor and cruise around the closest city in the middle of the night while listening to that song.

. Listen to this album unconditionally, without being jaded, bitter or jealous and when you're in good mood. It can be appreciated and extremely enjoyable. Fun, ear tingling, audibly juicy.

What happened????. There was a time when B jaxx made interesting and up for it house...remember all the great EP's. Where is the twisted and jackin' punch of Fly Life or the latin disco-soul of Samba Magic? Where is the shouty-pouty Jaxx of Jump N' Shout or Gett Me Off? I am afraid there is a crack in the basement floor and they fell in.

Pulled it off the shelf. Back in 2006 when this came out, i bought it immediately... and then immediately shelved it. Jump forward a few years I dusted it off and gave it a listen. This album is an amazing jewel. Where most of Kish Kash was skippable, this one amazes all the way through.

Jaxx quality is there, but it is 4th best full-length. Basement Jaxx has always had a knack for making dark yet happy, uptempo, sexy music that sticks in your head for the longest of time. I believe they have the most talent in electronic music today...the timing of their music has never been rivaled. One thing I like about BJ is that the songs are so complex that it often takes a few listens to really enjoy it. I remember buying Rooty & not liking it the first time. After thousands of listens, it remains one of my favorite CD's...period. On to Crazy Itch.....the tempo is a bit more mellow than previous efforts...that is certainly not unusual for most musicians. There are a few hits like Hush Boy & Hey U, but they do not reach the absolute zen of Red Alert, Where's Your Head At, Do Your Thing, Good Luck, etc. If this is your first purchase of BJ music, I would recommend going the order of Rooty, Kish Kash and Remedy (or just buy Red Alert). These are 5-star albums & no one should deny it. So as I have to hold BJ in such high regard with previous efforts, the latest effort Crazy Itch Radio, is a notch down. Great listening, but it's no surprise that at some point, the Jaxx would not be able to achieve such incredible heights they previously attained.

it's as basement jaxx as it can be. i really like it. none of the basement jaxx albums are consistent as far as i know. they all have little divisions...that's what the interludes do right? seperate one style to another. as far as i'm concerned take me back should have been the lead single and hush boy #2. other than that i'm happy to see them move in an evolutionary direction, i mean: isn't the whole reason we liked them in the first place was the fact that they had no direction?

Techno's most egotistical group drops a great album. Basement Jaxx, the group that mentions themselves in at least half of their songs, has dropped another great album. It's no Kish Kash, but it still holds up just fine. In lieu of their typical House sound, they opted for a crazy House-Hiphop-Western blend (which occasionally mixes polka in - see "Hey U"). In the song "Hush Boy," Basement Jaxx creates a great sort of poppy, House-y big band song with horn flairs and all sorts of nice touches. Other songs, like "Hey U", are hugely different from anything they've ever done, mixing a western sound with what turns into a psychotic, narcotic tango. "Run 4 Cover" combines House with rap, reggae, and other styles to create a melting pot of insanity. I almost make these songs sound unlistenable, but that's not at all what I wanted to get across. My point is that you'll want to listen to these songs over and over again, because they're so intensely unique. DOWNLOAD: "Hush Boy", "Hey U", "Run 4 Cover", "Take Me Back to Your House"

strange..... this is the strangest cd i`ve ever listened to. so i rated it in the middle. that is all.

This is a great album. They make me dance. If you don't dance when you're listening to this album, I know you don't have rhythm. I saw them with Robbie Willams in the UK; it's like George Clinton and the Funkadelics met Cyndi Lauper. They are so much fun! Their music touches everyone no matter race, religion, culture, creed. They get it! They know what music should be.

This itch ain't scratchin'. Only a few tracks live up to the title of the album, namely "On the Train," "Hey U" and "Everybody," the latter of which seems to lack direction, with one instrumental theme borrowed from 1999's "Rendez-Vu" – the original did a better job of developing that theme. Overall, this album is a mish-mash of styles, and it seems you get to pick what you like. "Lights Go Down" is good track for the end of a night of partying, while the funeral dirge/twisted circus addictive beat of "Hey U" does the best job of scratching my musical itch. "On the Train," on the other hand, is a good chill-out track, with a jazz style that evokes the imagery of a roving dog. If only the Jaxx's musical nose had been able to sniff out some more hits.

Welcome back Jaxx!!!!. Once again Basement Jaxx pioneer themselves years ahead of the rest. I can't quit listening to this album!!!

GREAT album but.... OK I am not the most objective of reviewers, I just can't get enough of Basement Jaxx. But WHY is there only one of their music videos available for sale? I wanted to purchase "Romeo" and "Take Me Back To Your House". I guess I will just have to download them for free now. Get with it somebody!

Nah... What happened to these guys?. Nicely orchestrated but kinda boring and what's up with those R&B influences? Yuk.

Excellent. Though there are some tracks i could definetely do without, this is a great album. I think the girl that sings on Take Me Back To Your House is actually Martina Sorbara, a canadian singer.

Fails to live up to expectations.. Alrighty... I have absolutely fallen in love with BJ the past few years.. but this album is a letdown. I'm not trying to be tough on them, i've tried letting it grow on me like their other albums, but I just don't. As many people have described, it's too pop-ey. For me, the vocals and lack of musical depth absolutely kill this album, and it's a shame this album seems molded in the style of the single "oh my gosh", which at the time seemed strictly novelty, and should have remained so. With the lyrical style so similar, and most songs lacking musical depth(anyone else infuriated at the abruptness of the piano in "everybody?")... the whole album just comes out as one major blah note. I miss the dark tone of songs like get me off, bingo bango, i want u, living room, cish cash, tonight. Compared to other dance albums, it's good. BUT! It's more on par with current trends than their previous, innovative approach.

Am I in London?!. I've always been a fan of these guys but never loved them as much as I do right now! There are at least three good commercial hits on there but the remainder is just good Basement Jaxx.

essential listening music. Imagine driving down a road in a small beach town on a warm summer day. This is a great representaion of how one feeels Nostalgia .like listening to the oldies station with "way out funky " melodies .Abstract maybe at first .then orgiinal and famillar .not too famillar ;still every time listening to with friends we always notice a new sound combonation .Deffenentley cutting the edge and breaking all boundries. Think R&B on a good fun note! with a more acid style ! two thumbs here! Cheers,Ian

This album rocks!. Yes, Basement jaxx did it again! this ablum is great! With songs like hush boy, everyone, and hey u, it has everything u are looking for in a great dance album!

Weak for Jaxx, stll excellent. This is probably the most uneven of Basement Jaxx's four albums, and I'd probably recommend any of the other three over this one, particularly because nothing screams LEAD SINGLE the way Red Alert, Romeo, and Good Luck did. Basement Jaxx is still, however, the best and most original act in electronic music, and even their weakest album is better than nearly anyone else's dance albums. A lot of people have singled out certain relatively strong dancey tracks, but actually the highlight of this album is Lights Go Down, which is a really great song and by far the best slow song they've ever done. I'm not usually a fan of their slower stuff, but that song is an instant fave for me, really extraordinary. The album also features a lot of great wacky interludes, and some good songs, but there are times when it feels like they're getting dangerously close to being little more than commercial pop music--against which they used to be the "Remedy...

Not their best work..... I'm a big BJaxx fan, and I can honestly say this is not one of their best albums. Kish Kash is much better in the delivery and mix of sounds and lyrics.

Rehash of similar sounds, without the beats. I'm rather disappointed at my $10 loss on this album. It rehashes a lot of the same themes from previous Basement Jaxx albums without significant "new" creativity. Kind of drags along at times, and the beats are not nearly as groovy as Kish Kash. If you're looking for catchy, bright beats, you might want to save yourself the time and money this time around.

Worth it. There is definitely some mediocrity amongst this album, but its undeniably a basement jaxx album. Addicting beats with sometimes surface deep lyrics and a funk that is all there own, is mostl all I'm interested in. I don't know that its their best, but "everybody" and the half a dozen other lucids tunes makes this a good buy. Worth it.

Jump N' Shout. Another killer album by basement jaxx. Bluesy, High Energy, and even a Banjo (check out Take Me Back To Your House). Basement Jaxx, keep in mind, is all about the mix. Each one of their albums has a different theme and something new to offer. Listen to numbers: 2, 4, 12.

No one understands this album.. All of you have been jaded by Kish Kash. This is nothing like it. Think about it... if kish kash had never came out, and never was as bad as it was, how you review this album? every track on it is self contained and catcy and masterful. basement jaxx have really had the chance to hone their skills, and with this album, they put every track down with the utmost intimacy and passion. Crazy Itch Radio can be compared to the classic Rooty, which was always better than Remedy anyway.

should be better. I expected better. There isn't a memerable track on this. I regret buying this CD. I hope they do better next time.

Friggin' AWESOME!!!. I trully enjoy this album. IT IS SOOOO FRESH! HL's: "Take me back to your house", "Hey U", "Run 4 cover"

JamaicaKid. Crazy Itch Radio is a pretty tight album. Everybody has been saying how they don't like it as much as their past albums but i happen to like it a lot. It has some really crazy songs that sound weird at first but then you start getting into them and start freaking out to em. The best songs are definitely Hush boy, Run 4 Cover, and Hey U.

The Jaxx can't do wrong. No matter what they do, they'll always impress me. This album has taken similar music styles from past albums, but it also has some new pleasantly-surprising beats mixed throughout. It's the type of album that should not be given a review right away. The more you listen to it, the more you absolutely fall in love. Don't pass up Smoke Bubbles. It's creepy and mysterious with a Jaxx twist, love love love! Jaxx music had been popular for its club anthems in the past, and some are disappointed that this album steers away from that genre just a bit. But it's a successful steer. Plus, the Jaxx are still releasing hits like "Cool It" & "Make Me Sweat" which are quite fast-paced and clublike. They covered all their bases!

love them!!. i love take me back to your house and hush boy!! basement jaxx make music thats that makes me happy!!

NO, WHERE'S YOUR HEAD AT ? ?? ? ???. The Jaxx should return to the lyrics of their still annoyingly overplayed anthem de cabesa for insight on this situation that's being pawned off as dance music. 1 album was amazing, another was alright, the rest are better used for cutting and/or rolling depending on your cup of tea.

Well mixed, but where the beef?. "Hey U" and "Everybody" are body-movin beats in the standard Jaxx style, while with "On the Train" they explore a jazzier, smoother sound reminiscient of the flappin 20's. Unfortunately, those songs are buried in with 12 other tracks. This is one of those meandering albums where it seems like the artist (or label) was just in too much of a hurry to cut an album. Makes you want to ask Bassment Jaxx "Where's your head at?" Thank goodness we're on iTunes, and we can cherry pick.

soooooo cute.. this album is great...these guys are sooooooo cute.

Sorry dudes, you finally struck out.. If Kish Kash was Black Cherry Vanilla Coke, then Crazy Itch Radio is warm Diet Coke that's going flat. This is their most inconsistent work to date and they've finally reached the point where the crap outnumbers the good. If they could have just laid off on the whitebread "bluesy" toe-tapping crap and the insane samba/flamenco schtick they could have had a decent album. I really could have done without most of the vocals as well, or maybe I could have if they had found some vocalists that didn't sound totally boring.

No, Hey U!!. Run 4 Cover rules! the album gets five fo that alone

not their best. The basement jaxx are a good band but this was their worst album but their still a good band. Their kind of starting to sound like a pop band though. But basment jaxx have always been a good band. I was just shocked from this album. I still give the basement jaxx some props.

Third Best Basement Jaxx Album. Like every Jaxx album, this has some killer tracks. Unfortunately, there are a few bummer songs. "Hush Boy," "Take me Back to your House," "Hey You," and "Lights Go Down" are all superb. Give Jaxx credit, they have never stopped experimenting with new ideas and sounds. Remedy and Rooty (both masterpieces) are untouchable, but Crazy Itch Radio is right behind them.

Excellent. This CD is great...I listened to it and said ok. Then after about the fourth or fifth listen I realized just how good it really is. "Take Me Back to Your Home" is an imaginative musical drama of the loneliness of last call done in a down home fashion, and the melodrama of "Smoke Bubbles" is both erotic and humouress.....Great job BBJ

A Beautiful explosion !!!. I can put this on and listen to every single song. It's very modern & futuristic but it's real poppy in a good way, too. There's a ton of great hooks and the songs have real choruses. The Jaxx cover mix in all sorts of genres, stuff you would never expect, but it always stays colorful and fun. There are even a few slower, mellow ones that are really moving and beautiful. I recommend it highly too people who like all sorts of music. It sounds like a beautiful explosion!!

Well... this new album's okay... but it don't throw me off my chair.... I LOVE em and all, and they're an integral part of me early, mid 20's... This album lacks some flirtyness, wild mixes (more) and I don't know it sounds like they recorded it around the Georgia/Florida border... I don't know it sounds a little like Arrested Development, somewhat barn cotton eye joe soundie, a dash of Patra, a little Afro American hickish (there is such thing)... Some songs are okay but... some are too new fer me to accept their new groove...

They need to put out a live album. What I don't understand about Basement Jaxx is that their live shows are unbelieveably phenomenal - there is not one person in the audience standing still. I've seen them four times and each time gets better and better. It's just unreal how good they are live. And then you listen to their albums and you're thinking... "wait, what, who is this?". Yes, some of the tracks on this album are good, just like some of them from Kish Kash were good, but I would just pick the two or three you like the most from the previews and not waste your money on the whole album. I just wish wish wish they could capture some of the energy from their shows and put it down on the album. Oh well, will just have to keep seeing them live I guess.

They've done it again!. I don't care who thinks this album is bad. It's one of the best ones that they've produced, in my opinion.

sweet. IT's hard to find music like this now a days!!!!

Innovation. I love Basement Jaxx because they are always raising the bar. The music they make is unique and challenging, and I respect any effort that they put forth. If you want to listen to true innovation in Electronic music, listen to Basement Jaxx.

Arguably the best yet.. One thing in common with all of the Basement Jaxx's previous albums are that they are to say the least inconsistant. This album remedies that problem with a fully cohesive listenable album that has no "skippables" for a change. Each song is worth listening to even twenty times through. There is a great variety on the songs as well with the full compliment on the elecronic spectrum ranging from extremely energizing to calm and soothing. This album is the most complete that they have produced and is a must buy.

About Time. I have everything the Basement Jaxx have ever produced and it brightened up my Tuesday to see that the Jaxx have another album. This will definitely climb my 'Play Count' list.

Amazing. You'll be singing each track its that good

Basement Jaxx is Baxx. I love Basement Jaxx. I think they are a complete new breed of what we call music genius, and Crazy Itch Radio shows it. I like pretty much all the songs and how they flow together, making it a great album. It takes time to get used to, because its usually BJ that comes out with killer singles. I recommend the album, so take a spin in your car and listen, you will be itching for it all over again.

eeek!. like everyone else in the dance game...once they get a major signing and get some cash behind them artistic freedom and "F.U." attitude & gets glossed over w/a "pop make over". But ...hey they made it...
