Perfect. Wow, takes a brilliant album and makes it sound clearer, richer and brand new all over again.

So far, so good. On a competing platform (won’t say who it is here, for obvious reasons) I heard the remix of Dogs. It sounded great. The new mix brought forth nuances that I didn’t know were there and the barking dogs were three dimensional in how they sounded. Not to mention the lack of clipping in the audio (I have recorded music, clipping is a term used when there’s a sudden spike in the sound). Dogs was well balanced. Can’t wait for the whole album.

Sound quality is excellent.. This classic album sounds better than ever. Worth every penny, even though the Floyd could’ve included some other tracks for $12.99. But for a Floyd fanatic, it’s all good!

7th Time I Bought This Album. Animals is still my favorite Pink Floyd album. It was the first CD I bought when it came out in the mid 1980s. It's one of those albums where I know every drum beat, every guitar lick, every little nuance because I have been listening to it since i was about 12 years old. Now, you can hear everything except how mean Roger was to the other guys. The mastering of this amazing piece of artwork was never even close to good, but that never stopped me from loving this timeless masterpiece. This remix fixes EVERYTHING. I am happy to buy it again.

Which one’s Pink??. As a tried and true Floyd fan-This.... is a sorry excuse of remix. Roger Waters vocals are waaay past their prime. Since he is playing with no other original members this shouldn’t even be called a Pink Floyd album. Should be called: Roger Waters, the Floyd audio destroyer. But his bass lines are always good- I will say that.

Simply amazing!. If you are a serious fan of Pink Floyd, and have listened to this album hundreds of times, you will appreciate the subtle, but obvious improvements made to this mix. It sounds like everything has been reworked from the ground up, even going to different tracks with slightly different performances. It's like a live album where the performance is a little different than what you are used to, but has no crowd noise, and flawless production. Overall, the album sounds cleaner, fuller, wider, more atmospheric; just totally better. There is some serious bottom-end to Roger’s bass, drums, synths, etc. The harshness of the original album has been removed so you can enjoy it without fatigue. This isn’t like the “remastered” version that came out in 2011, that sounded a little better, but was still the original album. It basically like the guys got together to re-record the album again, but with today’s technology (while keeping their youthful voices).

Worth it. Crisper separation. Sharper high end. And the bass pops more. This was a valid return to the masters.

Seriously???. Another version of an old Floyd album??? Good lord.

Amazing sound. I for one love this album! But this remaster sounds incredible. Very clear and balanced. Love it. Glad it finally came out for us to enjoy.

Yawn. The least you could have done was put the guitar bridge solo from Snowy White that was on the 8 track to bridge the 2 Pigs on the Wings. And there's got to be some bootleg Animal Live tracks ... Gotta sound better than the live 72 material you just released. by the way, Live at Pompeii stand alone album ... not the forced Early Years collection.

What?. No new songs, live versions, bonus tracks?

Out of obscurity into the dream. Animals was the very first CD I bought, I had to wait another year to afford a CD player to play it! I remember browsing records at Colin Morris in Wellington and not spending any money till I saw Animals. I loved it then, as I do now. No dramatic changes but a good lift in sound quality, especially the bass.

12.99…... Why not $9.99? They’re not the Beatles 🤷🏿‍♂️.

Nothing special really. Just a remix no live tracks demo tracks nothing.would’ve had a higher rating if it had more bonus tracks.

Love it!!. Sonically boosted for 2022!! 😄

Live? We have only been waiting for 40 years ?!. I can not figure why it is so difficult to give the the people who love the music and have been waiting to own the music they love actually the way the band intended it to be heard, the way they performed it. If there is some reason why this is so difficult, I’d surely love to know-l can’t see why the band wouldn’t want to release something that would sell 100 times more than another version of the same album, with tiny tweaks most people don’t even notice-

Sounds. Excellent
