The Squel To "The Lonesome Jubilee". For those of you who LOVED "The Lonesome Jubilee" as much as I did, and never quite felt he hit that same groove with follow up albums - definately check this one out. It's 10 years later, so the sound is updated, but the powerful yet folksy musical arrangements are all here, surrounding brilliantly written radio hits and album cuts alike. This is when Mellencamp finally re-hit his stride in the 90s. Check out singles "Your Life Is Now" and "I'm Not Running Anymore" then for good measure fire up "Eden Is Burning" "Positively Crazy" and the very simple, yet very catchy "Miss Missy" which could easily be "Lonely Ole Night" 1998-style!
