First review I’ve made, these guys deserve it. So I’m not the biggest fan of EDM or electronic music. I definitely love what I love, and enjoy hearing it but I’ve NEVER been able to just hit play on an entire electronic album. Until MNQN. This album is a mastery of electronic mood music...not to mention the throwback synth beats, 80’s pop and electronic beats fit perfectly into every track, Especislly with the singers voice. I put this review down cause I want these guys to get credit where credit is due. BUY AND LISTEN to this whole album. You’ll thank me later

Had to hunt for this…. Yes, this is the Starset guy. Yes, it’s good. 🫡 “on my mind” is outstanding! I almost like his sound here better than Starset…

Starset Fans. You need this album. It is fantastic. Just a great listen. Since it’s DB, it’s Starset with more electronica. It truly is music to my ears as a Starset fan. Get this album. Cheers. Toodles.

This is honestly one of the best albums I’ve heard in my life. Something about Dustin Bates... his songs just feel so different, an experience unlike anything else. Every song in this album is simply breathtaking.

Dustin Bates | All you need to know. When it comes to Dustin Bates, he releases nothing less than perfection, and you can tell just how much he cares for Downplay, Starset, and now MNQN. Downplay is a band that takes time to get into, it is not an immediate love, but when you sit down and listen, it grows on you. Starset is a band that will instantly melt you lyrically, vocally, and instrumentally. MNQN however, is a whole different sound. Somehow, Dustin Bates can make each and every song unique, yet each containing a sound and beat that makes you want to relax. Dustin has a way of making every moment count in every song he makes, and MNQN is surely one of my favorite side-projects to be released from anyone in the music industry. From the five songs we already have, I can tell this album will be a masterpiece.
