Great Soundtrack!!. As a huge LOTR fan I was expecting a movie that wasn’t as good. But I was proved wrong! The Hobbit trilogy had an amazing storyline and soundtrack. It was interesting getting to know the dwarves of Erebor, and seeing where Legolas was from. Anyway, this is a great soundtrack, that I would listen to on repeat!! Thanks again to Howard Shore for his amazing gift of composing!! He is truly one of the best.

THE HOBBIT 🐉. Ed keep doing what you love!!!

Another great one!. Howard Shore’s second recording for the Hobbit Trilogy. Very beautiful, scary, hopeful and dark. My favorites: The Quest for Erebor 10/10- Begins peacefully with the main motif but swells up quietly. Wilderland 8/10- This song is mostly dark and brooding. The House of Beorn 8/10- This song, for the most part, is quiet and mysterious. Mirkwood 8/10- Again, very dark and brooding. Flies and Spiders 10/10- This song begins beautifully and peacefully, but soon swells up terrifyingly, like ‘Shelob’s Lair’ from the Return of the King album. The Woodland Realm 9/10- Very beautifully wondrous but also very dark. Feast of Starlight 10/10- Beautiful, representing Elves. Barrels out of Bond 10/10- Sneakily seems to escape the Elves. The Forest River 10/10- Very dark and violent. Bard, a Man of Laketown 8/10- Very brooding. High Fells 8/10- Also very brooding. The Nature of Evil 9/10- Very dark and scary.
