WHY?. There is no pracical reason or purpose to rerelease songs that have already appeared on numerous collections. Is it that importat to generate more $$ for the estate? What a rip off. Michael would turn over in his grave.

Nope. I gave one star b/c it's a useful GUIDE for putting together a playlist for the songs you (and everyone else!) already have. Don't give the leeches your dime. RIP Michael.

Great collection. Ignore cry babies. 1) this is a great collection that includes more than just MJ’s greatest chart hits, and tracks fans might know but casual listeners may have missed. 2) collections are not a new thing. Every artist has multiple collections of older work. 3) The nicely done remixed track is sold without having to buy the whole album. 4) we have gotten two new albums since Jackson died, one with both the original and remixed versions. We will see future releases from the estate. Considering he’s deceased, the prospect of any new material is a big deal. So just relax. 5) it’s not a ripoff if no one makes you buy it. 6) the physical copy on cd includes some augmented reality stuff which is kind of cool. I look forward to unreleased tracks in the future but in the meantime the medley mix is a good track and this is a great collection to recommend to listeners that can be introduced to a variety of his work and not the same tunes everyone knows. When new fans take notice and explore his catalog of music it encourages unreleased tracks to be released. Trashing this collection makes little sense.

Let me explain.. Ok so I’m not Ultra fan of Michael Jackson I just grew up with his music, and I still listen to his music too this day. Now I do like this compilation, so let me explain why. Now first it’s a Halloween compilation of his "Halloween/Spooky songs” so that’s a plus for me because I LOVE Halloween! And these are great songs and all of them are in my favorites list. second the remix. Now I really don’t like the Mj remix’s not because of him (I believe MJ is innocent) and it’s just the MJ remix’s are awful and trust me they are but this blood on the dance floor x dangerous remix (track 14) is pretty good. It’s WAAAAYYYY! Better than the others And finally the tracks. Ok so as I said this is basically a compilation of his Halloweenish songs he’s made And there really good songs and I 100% recommend this it’s a really good album and it’s definitely worth the 10 bucks. And I only have two of these songs on here, thriller and scream. I got them with the HIStory album (which I own btw I bought the, whole thing) and I’m probably going to buy this. Just because it’s got good songs on it and it’s OCTOBER!!! you have to get this it’s amazing 👍🏻 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

You will do ANYTHING for money. Are you infected with the same disease of gluttony & greed????? I have so many compilations that go back to cassettes. So when I saw this I immediately went looking for unreleased stuff. It was so disappointing to hear the titles were all old. I didn’t stand in line for tickets to the Bad Tour to see a legacy purposefully tarnished years later. I didn’t go to the Victory Tour as a tot to find out years later that random posthumous stuff that serve no purpose would pop up in the modern era. MJ was too special for this. Fans cannot be duped.

$ony is awful.... This album is a "cash-in" joke. One new "Mash-up Remix". Michael made it very clear he hated remixes, and only $ony pushed him to release remixes. The remix is awful, and the other tracks are not even remastered in 2017 sound quality. What a sad joke!

Another poorly executed Estate mess. The concept is fine and all, but the execution is atrocious. Clever artwork doesn't make up for the mindlessly selected track list, completely forgettable remix/mash-up, and utter lack of content cohesion. Is this a Halloween album? Without being titled as such, I think we can agree that's the point of it. In that case, important songs from MJ's career with haunting themes of horror, torment and fear (like "Is It Scary," "Scared of the Moon," "Morphine," "2bad" and "Smooth Criminal" are omitted in favour for inexplicable selections (like "Unbreakable," "Leave Me Alone," and "Dirty Diana"). I've seen some fans argue that songs like "Is It Scary" and "Scared of the Moon" were omitted because they're not uptempo and that this set is, as per the official MJ Estate/Sony press release, meant to be a collection of "13 of his all-time most electrifying and danceable tracks"...but that argument doesn't hold up for me as I can't say I've ever danced to "Dirty Diana" before. The track list doesn't live up to its press release description, and the product itself doesn't live up to fans' expectations. I do wonder, though, why fans even bother to continue to have expectations when the creators of these products - the supposed gatekeepers to Michael Jackson's discography and artistic legacy, whose duty it is to protect and preserve the integrity of said discography and legacy - are the very people who officially released fake songs on the Michael album in 2010, and continue to sell said fake songs to the public to this day, marking almost 7 years of continued consumer fraud. When that's the precedent they unapologetically set, its difficult to view anything they've done since with even an iota of affection. And that's a heartbreaking shame, because there's nothing in the world I love more than Michael Jackson.

Clearly shook, but then not really.. This is a very cute compilation. BUT then again, we don't want these to be honest. We want unreleased material, and we want something purely that is not released yet. To be really honest, this is nice though because it's Halloween themed and it shows some underrated songs from the king of pop. I am very excited. But still, RELEASE SOME UNRELEASED MATERIAL!

Why bother releasing this?. I already own all these songs, aside from the mashup which is not great. The estate should release Dangerous 25 or if they want to do something Halloween themed release ghosts on DVD and blu ray or the making of Thriller. I really do not see the point of releasing this compilation

Not aimed at fans who already have it all. This album is designed for people who might have one or two of MJs albums and would like a few more of his hits in a neat package. It is NOT for the diehard fans who already have everything ever made by MJ and who are desperate for new material.

“Interesting collection of non obvious MJ tracks”. There’s been so many Jackson hits collections (Essential, King Of Pop, Ones, This is It, HIStory) that I’d normally be averse to look at another. However, I think the Halloween theme is a good angle and puts together an interesting collection of non obvious MJ tracks. Especially having ‘Torture and This Place Hotel’ alongside ‘Blood on the Dancefloor & Ghosts’ ‘Is it Scary’ would have been well placed here too. I’m getting the vinyl!

I already have these songs!!. I was disappointed to hear of a 'New Release Album' of old songs... Any fan of Michael Jackson would already have these tracks (apart from the mixed medley at the end) from previously bought albums... Why would anybody want to buy a compilation album for the songs they already have? I've been a fan since I was 10 in '95 after the HIStory album release and this is one album I will Not be buying! Please Michael Jackson Estate, listen to your fans... bring us something new - an authentic demo album would be great!

Pointless but great tunes. You can't dispute that these tunes are just amazing but as fans of the wonderful Mr Jackson do we need to be sold another album that we already have 3 ,4 time over. Having Rockwell on there is lovely but Michael was only in chorus it just an album to make money not show case his beautiful talent if you truly are a fan buy his other albums

So much potential, so little delivery. This project had so much potential to be great for both MJ fans and casual listeners alike - instead we still yet another compilation album, made of material anyone can put into a playlist from streaming services. The only redemption from this is the last track remix - a superb mix of some of my favourite MJ tracks that's very clean - If only all of these tracks could be remixed, or have new material.... ...Not to mention key "halloween" themed tracks missing from the catalogue - Is It Scary, Little Suzie, 2 Bad...?

The King of Pop. I’m a massive MJ fan however I won’t be purchasing this album, just streaming from Apple Music. I understand it’s to help the estate to reach his music to a younger audience. The new Halloween projects (including Cartoon) just sit right with me. Just release some outtakes and rarities already! I for one would love to see footage of MJ in the recording studio.

Why get upset?. If this provides some extra income for Michael's kids and promotes Michael's music to new fans then what's the big deal?

I love MJ so much.... Being a huge MJ fan, I was excited for this album because I thought it would all be remix's, obviously it won't be "new music" because the man sadly passed away, but I thought all music on here would be remix's, not just the one.

Michael Jackson forever. The New Album looks really frightening and Searcy and it is really great. The front cover even looks really amazing with half of Michael’s face on one side of the moon and the over half in the cloud. It is a great Halloween album to bring out on October. I do hope the 25th Anniversary of Dangerous should definitely come out during November or December. Michael Jackson the KING OF POP is forever. Also they should still keep on with the force keep on making more Albums by Michael Jackson and never keep stopping.

Hhmm.. A Halloween album for Michael Jackson makes perfect sense...but where are "Is It Scary" and "Little Susie"? They are both far more Halloween-themed than "Unbreakable" and "Leave Me Alone".

Very good. The songs are all amazing but why they didn’t add ‘is it scary’ on this it is much more Halloween related then Xscape or Unbreakable. There is a song called ‘black widow’ too which is unreleased so that would of been nice too

This is a tribute to Jacko himself.. I used to be a Michael Jackson fan during late 2008 right up until he had a cardiac arrest in 25th June 2009. I still remember him today, 10th anniversary of his death will be on 25th June 2019.
