One of the band's best. I bought this album when it first came out in 1974 and loved it immediately. It was my first introduction to Fleetwood Mac, which, of course, would morph into a very different band with the addition of Buckingham and Nicks with the next album. But the songs on Heroes are all excellent. And after all these years, I think it is still my favorite.

The great Bob Welch with Fleetwood Mac. What a terrific album; this being the last LP featuring Bob Welch, who made the unfortunate mistake of quitting the band which (as we all now know) went on to overwhelming success with the addition of Buckingham and Nicks. Imagine how the band would have done with four outstanding songwriters in the mix. There are many many great tracks on this album, not to be missed.

Lost classic. Even if this album only existed for Bermuda Triangle and She's Changing Me, it would deserve the price. Welch brought such a pop sensibility to this iteration of Fleetwood Mac. R.I.P.

Goodbye to great music!. So, you go to a concert expecting to hear this amazing album performed, and out walks Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks...... the new Fleetwood Mac. Great pop, sure. Lindsey could not play any of the licks from the old albums, especially this one. Total shock! Mick, Christy, John still the same; the best band ever. Changes occurred over the years, getting better and better. Then the jump to pop, and of course mega stardom. Proud of them. That said, all of us miss the great musicianship and intricate vocals. This was where Bare Trees and all the rest led to. It deserves a listen, but not by the new found pop wanderlust. Bob Welch....... we miss you.

Heroes are hard to find. Edge of the cliff of the the prgressive era of Welch who carried on their legacy for the last time on this. It is indeed a gem in the vast category of their music.
