bare trees. I always enjhoyed this version of the band. Even after Danny Kirwin left the Bob Welch era produced some good music Christine Mcvie was always a capable song writer. Quite a history to this group

Bare Trees. My second favorite FM album behind future games!

Bare trees. Kirwin does not get enough credit for keeping the Mac alive after Peter Green . The combo of him and Welch on Future games was an excellent example of a experimental guitar based album taking the band into a more driving sound on this one . Bare trees along with Future games are Early Mac albums for fans that are a must have .

More Kirwan. iTunes, Please add Kiln House and Future Games to your selection. I'll need songs from those albums for my Danny Kirwan playlist.

❤️. ❤️

One of the Great Albums of the Era. This is definitely a pop/rock album that set a standard for the genre, dominated by the songwriting and guitar work of Danny Kirwan who also sings on a few numbers with that soft, melancholy voice. Moody, creative and tasteful guitar playing abounds, with interplay between Kirwan and Bob Welch that remains as rich and satisfying today as it was when this album was first issued, though since then the sounds have been somewhat copied and transformed by other artists. Several great tracks make this a must-have album, though not all the songs are of equal value. The title song, “Child of Mine,” “Spare Me a Little of Your Love,” “Dust” and “Sunny Side of Heaven” are all lovely rockers with grace and heart, distinctive and beautifully performed. Christine McVie sings her best when she takes the lead, but it’s really Kirwan who is most responsible for this enduring classic.

At last. Finally some of the Bob Welsh era FM is avalable on itunes.

One of my Top 5 Albums of All Time. So glad to have it on iTunes. Great music for reflection and regeneration for me. “Spare Me a Little of Your Love” was my introduction to Christine McVie and it’s still one of my favorites of hers.

Underrated!!!. Some great tunes on here, and not just deep cuts. The Mac start to transition from blues band to pop/rock here with Sentimental Lady and I think one of Christine's best , Spare me a Little ! Also love Ghost and Title track is an awesome rocker!
