For it didn’t sound like a heartbeat, it sounded like drums... Fact and fiction mixed within his dreams but only time would tell the full story: a night where an angry High Priest had placed a voodoo curse on the Scotsman, ripping out his beating heart and replacing it with a drum machine. Doomed to walk the night, the curse took hold and DRUMS OF DEATH was born! Now, after eighteen months of donning voodoo face-paint and roaming continents with his no holds-barred electronic show, Bailey’s only chance to rid himself of this inner torment, his only salvation, is to unleash his curse on the world at large, to share this magick with the Generation Hexed. Generation Hexed is the party record with a broken heart.” Indeed for many people the story has already started: Since the eclectic, glitchy paranoia of his debut EP Drums of Death Steps Into The Ring, Bailey has deftly ridden the slipstream to the top of the UK’s dance fraternity, being nominated for DJ Magazine’s ‘Best Newcomer’ award, touring the USA and Europe with Hot Chip & Peaches (for whom he co-wrote her latest album's title track "I Feel Cream"), remixing Franz Ferdinand, Alphabeat, Tricky, Mika & Hot Chip and recently gracing the front cover of iDJ Magazine.
