Heavier and better!. Read a review complaining "Why?! Just yelling now?!! C'mon Chevelle" and hit the buy now button! Probably the hardest hitting Chevelle album to date. Good! While their melodic style is key to the sound of the band, I found past albums getting progressively slower, until now. This album rocks. Enjoy it as much as "Wonder What's Next" which was my favorite. Give it a listen!

Love it!. Just buy it. It's Chevelle!

Yes.. Throughly enjoy the entire album. Only drawback is that there are only ten songs. Really pisses me off, but they're ten really good, solid Chevelle songs. Definitely back to their roots. Still though, I'm still waiting for another "The red" or "send the pain below" type song. "This type of thinking" and "Wonder what's next" had the best singles Chevelle will probably ever offer, but this album I definitely like. 5 star deserving, unlike 2 1/2-3 stars I give "La Gargola"

Immersed. Listening to the album for a straight 5-6 weeks now. Gore(Deftones) occupied me for couple of months and then this came. My perception is changed and great boost to complete my own work. See you guys in a little.

Dayum *_*. I've been loving chevelle since '98. And I keep falling deeper. More screaming vocals and drums make me a happy lady.

Chevelle. Absolutely killing it! Much better then the last album! Great work!

Always underrated. Awesome, gnarly, potent album. Every song is great. They rock out so hard without sounding so redundant. Thanks for putting this out.

New Favorite Album. Love love love this album! Some nostalgia to 90's sounds along with a more current metal/hard rock sound.

Chevelle delivers once again. I hate to admit it, but I was a little disappointed with the last release, La Gargola. For some reason I just didn't enjoy the sound as much as the previous releases and just couldn't get into the lyrics. I figured that maybe the great run Chevelle had was finally over. Should've never doubted these guys. This album rocks and they found a nice medium between the style of Gargola and previous works. They are still one of the best bands of the last 2 decades. Can't wait to see them live again when come back to Chi-Town!

Keep it going!. Solid hard rock album! A change in direction but in a good way! Staying heavy. I love it!๐Ÿค˜๐Ÿฝ

Freaking greatness!. Awesome chops, great songs, really tight band. What an awesome guitar sound. Vocals are killer and of course the drums are incredible!

Outstanding rock album. A terrific album you can just play without skipping tracks. If I had one complaint it would be that there are only 10 tracks....

Pete's never made these sounds before.... This is a spectacular album, but their new sound is definitely going to take some getting used to, in a good way.

What happened to Chevelle?. They used to be my favorite band. I want the Chevelle back who produced Wonder What's Next, Vena Sera, Sci-Fi Crimes, and Hats off to the Bull. Everything they've done since 'Hats' has been so different, and very difficult to digest.

Chevelle. I've been missing and looking for music like this! Great job Chevelle!

Love this album. Just good old fashion Metal my friends. The simple production makes me feel like I am at a club listening to them live. I find my head bobbing and my hand hitting the steering wheel through the entire album. Thumbs up!

By far their worst. Songs are pointless and has a lot of unnessary yelling.Their follow up NIRATIAS was really good.

๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„. I liked how in "Door to Door Cannibals", the guitar and bass seemed to play right along with the lyrics. In "Joyride", the guitar and bass sounded good, too. In fact, the guitar and bass sounded amazing in all of the songs! Other people have said that the lyrics are much darker, but they don't make that much sense to me, but that's fine; the songs are still great! I also like the drums in the songs. The only part of this album that was good but wasn't great, in my opinion, was the screaming. However, there is one good thing about the screaming, and it's the fact that it will be easy to identify which songs came from this album, especially if they were mixed in with other albums from Chevelle, like if they were on a radio station or playlist. To finish off, I would like to say "Good Job Chevelle! Keep doing what you're doing because it's good, and the people who don't like it can listen to other albums or another band, or wait for a new album to come out, or they can deal with it. Again, good job Chevelle!"

Agree with the yelling post!. Wow, what a great band with a wonderful singer- usually... The music sounds like Chevelle, but the VOX is pretty much just yelling. Man- that's sad as I was looking forward to another great album. You are so great the world will give you another chance, but I would drop the yelling. Yes I know there are many here among us that like it, but if you got to yell, do it in a little lower key and roll off some top end. Go back to singing---- you guys are the best.... Still love ya though!!!

Still Got It. Chevelle is one of the most underrated bands, not only of this decade, but I believe of all time. Their writing is incredible and their sound is amazing, and this album is no exception. Definitely recommend.

Not letting off the gas peddle. I admit I kind of forgot about this band for a little bit but glad to see they continue to push it in this new album with their edgy hard rock sound and not caving into mainstream garbage on the radio.

GROUND CONTROL TO MAJOR TOM. I'm afraid that I am just losing ground with these guys with this album. I'll still remain a fan and attend their shows as able for the older stuff, but our connection is apparently dissipating. One thing I will say (and I respect them deeply for it), at least they went in the direction they chose and not just looking for another Top 20 hit (like Shinedown and Nickelback, the ultimate sellouts!) I think their new producer has swayed them in a much different "younger-generation-friendly" direction musically, making the tempo of their songs consistently inconsistent. To me, it only compromises what started out as awesome melodies and beats. I still love the pounding sound as only Chevelle can pump out, but the changes in vocals and constant abstract chord changes are certainly overkilled to the point where certain points only sound like noise to me. I understand that musician success requires testing new boundaries and risky pioneering of new sounds...or you just fade away to the discount rack. Anyhow, I still love Chevelle no matter what and I'll always buy their art! They have always seemed like great guys and I wish them the best no matter what.

Chevelle. Awesome music. The songs them selves are catchy. And you can just feel the effort whenever they scream out.

Mostly a good album. The only song I don't like is "Young Wicked" it sounds kinda gay with the lyrics in some parts but the guitars, bass, and drums is good in the song. The rest of the songs are awesome. My personal favorite being "Door To Door Cannibals".

Love it!. I do love the album a lot! I think it's better than La Gargola and Hats Off To The Bull, the only thing that makes me uncomfortable is that they cuss in this album, it's really weird

๐Ÿ˜ณ. Holy bananas batman!

Chevelle back in form!!!. These last two albums Chevelle has brought back their heavy side and I love it. While a lot of bands tend to get lighter with age, Chevelle brings a more aggressive tone. This album is a fine example of why I originally started listening to these guys 7 years ago.

Disappointing. Used to be a big chevelle fan. The last decent/good album they put out was Hats off the the Bull. Since then its been a downward spiral of crap. Many others are complaining about the constant yelling and lack of melody they used to have. I couldnt agree more. And to be produced by โ€œevilโ€ joe barresi i thought would be awesome. But seems to me joe is tired of recording these guys because he is not delivering the advice or musicality to them that they need. Kinda disappointing because as a fellow producer i really looked up to mr joe barresi as much i also enjoyed previous chevelle albums. They need to go back to work with producers like elvis baskette or brian virtue or pick a new one that can help these guys come up with some better melodically heavy driven songs.

RIVERS. RIVERS!

Back to the old. Hitting it up back to the old days!! I like new don't get me wrong. One of the biggest reasons I love this group is they never change.. They stay true and legit and never sell out. I can't wait to see them in concert this year!!!!

A Heart-Pumping Ride. I had never taken time to listen to Chevelle except for the occassional song that popped on the radio. A friend showed me their first single on the album Joyride (Omen) and I was hooked. Although this isn't their best album, The North Corridor is not by any means bad. It sparked my interest to listen to Chevelle's other albums and shows how consistently good and adaptable they are. Thanks to Chevelle for 8 great albums! Personal Favorites: Door to Door Cannibals Joyride (Omen) Punchline

Phuckt!!!!!!. Rips ya soul out and lifts you to heaven by the ears!

BEST ALBUM!!. The North Corridor is like the band just went full power and talent! pure Adrenaline! every song is unique in some way, really loving the dark heavy tone and creativity

Great Album!!!. One of the things that really makes Chevelle stand out over others in this genre is how high the bass is in the mix.. I $&@*ing love the crunchy bass lines where you can hear every chord.. Most bands nowadays put it to low in the mix or blend it with the guitars. Thanks guys for keeping the bass audible and crunchy as f$&@.. Keep rocking on!!!

Meh.. I feel bad for giving these guys a weak review (they're so consistently awesome), but I could easily have gone without purchasing this entire album. Joyride (Omens) is a great track. Door to Door Cannibals, Young Wicked... There are no bad songs on the album, but there's not a lot of variation either. Heavy with a lot of screaming throughout. It's a bit like watching a horror movie without comic relief. Sometimes you have to let up on the suspense and let the audience catch their breath.

Amazing album!!. Chevelle returns bigger and bolder then ever!!

Probably their best and hardest album to date. A harder refined sound and something new in the 'Punchline' track. My favorite Chevelle Album to date.

Underrated. Another great band that was never a sellout... Never pushing any ounce of pop down our throats. Rock HARD...Play HARD!

GREAT....But. I need the exclusive track "A Miracle" on iTunes..

Love it. Great album, top to bottom. Love the Tool undertones.

Fantastic!. I just rediscovered chevelle and these guys bring it. Love their unique style! This album does not disappoint. Get it.

a gem!!. love this album, it simply rocks , Chevelle never dissapoints! fav track- burned .

Dang. This album hits HARD. ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ

Eh. Eh, it's Chevelle. No surprises. The standout track is Punchline

Not bad, but I expected more.. As a long time Chevelle fan, perhaps I had my hopes too high for this new album. It's all still very much their sound, but it seems to me that it's been simplified. The beats are mostly the same, there aren't many catchy riffs. I find myself mainly enjoying two or three tracks (Door to Door Cannibals, Joyride, Young Wicked) after that I switch back to Sci-Fi Crimes, Vena Sera, or This Type of Thinking (Could Do Us In). I won't bash the album too much, I just can't say that I love it; there's too much yelling without the blend of clear singing I've come to love from Chevelle. Their ability to mix heavy riffs with harmonizing vocals and then drop into an in-your-face sound in the same song is incredible, but I'm not seeing much of that here. If you're a huge Chevelle fan, you'll probably like this album (or at least the majority of it), but don't expect the same magic from their previous works.

TST. TOOL TST'd the devil and spawned CHEVELLE

Lovin It...Chevelle. There aren't any Shameful Metaphors here but if you have been a longtime fan of Chevelle you will love this collection of work. "Got Burned" rocks.
