Love the classic vibes. I read the Rolling Stone review and they clearly don't know or recognize the roots of R&B. This album has major Debarge vibes, now I'm young but I know who the greats are, so I love Majid's voice and Jordan's tight/minimal production, I find it both fresh and nostalgic. Rolling Stone writer be trippin. You can really hear it on tracks like "Love is Always There" and "Warm" and I think they are two of the most stand out tracks. "Something About You" is one sexy a@$ song and there are some great house feels in "Every Step Every Way" and "Learn from Eachother". I love this album. I'll give OVO credit, they are holding it down in the "R&B/Soul" camp pretty damn good.

Surprised. I've been a fan of Majid Jordan for quite a while and the album blew me away, the first time you listen to it and skim through its mediocre but when you listen to their songs 2 to 3 times you start vibing and I've haven't listened to anything since the release

Yes. "a place like this" was the best sound I had heard in more recent years of rap and r&b and originally wasn't too excited about the sounds of new majid, but after listening to more of their new songs like "king city" or "learn from each other" I've noticed how their sound has progressed and I love it. Majid Jordan has held their own and carved their own path, yet still changing and progressing with a sound they could call their own. I hope to see this direction progress in every way possible. Congratulations on an awesome first album.

WOW!. Was impressed!! its refreshingly new and different, they mix RNB with almost undertones of a UK garage kind of sound but it works really well!! Is really well produced and the tracks that i thought sounded weak to start with end up getting better as the song progresses!! be interesting to see what other people think of this album!

Life Changing. Saw that Majid Jordan has been listed under the ‘Pop’ genre, I don’t really think it fits them. I suggest the ‘Life Changing’ or ‘Thank Us Later’ genres - much better suited. In all seriousness, I love their music - defo worth a listen
