A tour de force, something you don't know you need but you really do need this.. I was a Disturbed fan when they debuted in 2000, but fell off after their third album and was apathetic to them since. Then I heard their version of Sounds of Silence, and thought I'd come here and get the single. As it was downloading I hit play on the first track, just to see what they are sounding like these days. Wow. Then the second track. Holy crap. Third song? Whelp, this is exactly what I want in music "buy album."

Album Overview. Immortalized Overview The Eye of the Storm- NA(Intro) The intro to the record which sets a dark theme and transitions into Immortalized really greatly. Similar to Remnants. Immortalized- 4/5 The second single off the record. Instrumentally has an amazing chorus and verses. Similar to Asylum. The Vengeful One- 5/5 The lead single off the record with a catchy intro and chorus. Also great drumming from Mike. Similar to Stricken. Open Your Eyes- 4/5 A fast paced political song with a good but repetitive chorus. Similar to Another Way to Die. The Light- 4/5 A lighter, happy sounding song with more positive lyrics. Similar to Crucified What Are You Waiting For- 5/5 A lyrical departure for Disturbed, with a fast chorus and catchy verses, as well as a great guitar solo. Similar to I'm Alive. You're Mine- 4.5/5 Lingering vocals and lighter but hard guitar riffs make this song one of the best. Similar to The Infection. Who- 4/5 Yet another lighter song with good vocals. Similar to Forgiven. Save Our Last Goodbye- 4/5 A heavier, darker song with a very catchy chorus similar to Just Stop. Fire it Up- 2.5/5 Third single. I'm giving it half because I don't mind this song instrumentally. Similar to Shout2000. The Sound of Silence- 1/5 A song I gotta say I could never imagine Disturbed covering. Not a good choice in my opinion. Way too slow for them. Similar to Darkness. Never Wrong- 5/5 A song that brings back their Classic nu metal sound. Definitely one of the standouts. Similar to Criminal. Who Taught You How to Hate- 2/5 Another light themed song with some good guitar riffs and a nice sound.. but has too much of a happy sound for me which Disturbed is definitely not famous for. Similar to Rise.

Meh. Nothing will ever compare to their 2000-2008 releases...RIP Disturbed

Love it!. Disturbed is easily my favorite band period. Just listening to the 4 songs that were pre released let me know this album will be great. I have all of there previous albums, I can not wait to add this too my collection.

The Sound Of Silence. Beautifully redone! Simon & Garfunkel had their time to shine back in their days, but Disturbed took this song and SMASHED it to pieces!!! **BANG!** LOVE IT!!!

Not bad. Not great. Couple great songs. Some good songs. Some not so much. Expected a little more than songs like "Fire it Up." Come on Disturbed...you're not rappers and are a little too old to be singing about smoking weed. Haven't listened to the album since I listened to that song. Left a sour taste in my mouth. Expected a little more maturity here I guess. Sorry. 3 Stars

Immortalized. I'm not going to lie, this is a good album, but not a great album. There are some songs I enjoy like Immortalized, The Vengeful One, What Are You Waiting For, and their cover of The Sound of Silence. Give it a listen you'll enjoy it.

Sounds of Silence cover. I'm an old guy...63. I remember when this song was first released by Simon & Garfunkleback in the mid-60's...yet, I have to say, that this cover by Disturbed is the best that I've heard in all this time. When I heard it after being posted on Facebook by a friend, I immediately went to the iTunes store and purchased the song, and album. Great work.

amazing price. wow! this album is so good and its only on for 6.99? if you are even debating getting this album, just do it. this is by far one of the best albums I’ve ever purchased. not to heavy, and just heavy enough. and don’t even get me started on “The sound of Silence” remake. its unbelievable. just amazing. album is definitely worth it.
