Ray of Magic. This has been by far my favorite Madonna album. At the time it was released it was so new and fresh and just wonderful! It came out when I was coming out as a gay. When I hear it to this day it reminds me of such a special time in my life. sadly, madam x didn’t stay on this path long. I’ve not loved any of her albums since this magical masterpiece.

Almost year 2020 and this album still feel futuristic.. You need a super 7.1 surround sound system to appreciate the production of this masterpiece. There are two powerful trinities here, you need to listen them together to feel every single layer of super arrangements. “Skin” “Nothing Really Matters” “Sky Fits Heaven” Then, to embark on her best vocals ever, the feelings that flourish lyrically on these following three tracks “Frozen” “The Power Of Good-Bye” “To Have And Not To Hold” And after that, only three more songs that need to be listen own their own, because they are to personal... to her “Drowned World/Substitute Of Love” “Little Star” “Met Girl”, And to finish, “Ray Of Light” the track is filled with euphoria... probably one of the reasons got chosen as the title of the album. Madonna’s Ray Of Light is probably her best album, Art on every track. Her 80’s Madonna, True Blue, Like A Prayer are the strong foundation of this legend, then Confessions consecrate her as the Queen Of Pop, but half way, Ray Of Light will always be there to tight every Madonna’s era together, even as Madame X.

Madonna. Though I am a bigger fan of her music than I am of her as a person and how she, at times presents herself can be distasteful (In My Opinion). She likes to be dirty, what can you do. You probably either like the darker side of Madonna or the lighter side. This is for the lighter. Production is good. Her voice overall sounds pretty good. This album is a bit dated as I am listening to it now and thinking about it. I just looked her up on Wikipedia and noticed her album sales have been on a rapid decline.. millions ans millions less each release. Of course this could be that album sales as a whole have been that way. So take that with a grain off salt. I really do wish that she would explore this kind of album again... we'll see.
